DRAINING THE SWAMP: On Friday, President Trump signed an executive order directing eight agencies to shut down all non-legally required functions, cut staff, and reduce statutory roles to the bare minimum required by law. They include the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, United States Agency for Global Media, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Institute of Museum and Library Services, United States Interagency Council on Homelessness, Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, the Minority Business Development Agency, and the Arctic Research Commission.

LIFE: On March 13, every single Democrat in the Minnesota House voted to kill a bill requiring infants who survive abortions be fully recognized as human persons who are entitled to receive reasonable measures consistent with good medical practice. The bill was defeated 67-66.
Their 67 votes also defeated a bill would have helped fund crisis pregnancy resource centers, which provide free resources to mothers and their babies.

TDS: Minnesota Senate Republicans have proposed a bill that would change the definition of mental illness and add “a definition” for Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).
“‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ means the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal persons that is in reaction to the policies and presidencies of President Donald J. Trump. Symptoms may include Trump-induced general hysteria, which produces an inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and signs of psychic pathology in President Donald J. Trump’s behavior.”
