J6: Social media has been aflame with reports that 274 plainclothes agents were at the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021. Director Patel has clarified that the agents were not there before, but only sent in after the Metro Police declared it was a “riot.” He also noted that sending agents in to do crowd control “goes against FBI standards” and that then-Director Wray should have disclosed this information when he was asked by congressional leaders.
Patel also said, “This was the failure of a corrupt leadership that lied to Congress and to the American people about what really happened. Thanks to agents coming forward, we are now uncovering the truth. We are fully committed to transparency, and justice and accountability continues with this FBI.”

As long as I’m taking up a comment slot, let me brag on the ol’ home state a little.
Oklahoma is the first state where EVERY SINGLE high school will have its own Turning Point USA chapter, following Charlie Kirk’s assassination. The decision aims to counter “woke indoctrination” and promote free speech, and American values.
After issuing that mandate, and after purchasing a Bible for every school in the state, State Superintendent Ryan Walters stepped down from his role to join and lead the Teacher Freedom Alliance, “a non-union alternative for educators,” with the primary goal to once and for all crush the power of the traditionally left-wing unions.
In less-good news from the Sooner state, an Oklahoman was fatally mauled by a tiger. Gotta admit, that’s unusual. Bobcats and Mountain Lions, sure, but rarely tigers.
