PRAYER: Dear Lord, Bless us with the graces we need to be strong and courageous as we face today’s challenges. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

BEAUTY BREAK: [6:35] – Stay to the end so you don’t miss how wildly successful was her invitation to create star quilt blocks to go with hers for the 40th International Quilt Festival back in 2014.

CHARLIE KIRK: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1073649551620488 [3:08] to hear him respond to a college student’s unbelievably ignorant statements about the Constitution. There is zero excuse for anyone to be this stupid in this day and age. I found this with a few keystrokes: https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/.

COMEY: Former FBI Director James Comey is charged with making false statements and obstructing a congressional hearing related to the Trump-Russia probe. He has pleaded “not guilty.”

EVERYDAY HEROES: In 1968, Japan Airlines pilot Kohei Asoh mistakenly landed a DC-8 jet several miles short of San Francisco International Airport, right into the shallow waters of the bay. Miraculously, all passengers survived, and the aircraft was later salvaged. But what stood out most was Asoh’s response during the investigation.

When asked what went wrong, Asoh gave a blunt, unvarnished answer: “As you Americans say, I f–ked up.” His honesty stunned officials, contrasting sharply with the usual evasions and technical jargon common in aviation mishaps. He took full responsibility without deflecting blame or offering excuses.

This rare act of candor became known as the “Asoh defense”, a term now used in business, law, and leadership to describe the power of owning one’s mistakes directly. It’s a reminder that accountability, even when uncomfortable, can build trust and credibility faster than spin or denial.

GENEALOGY: In Somerset, England, archaeologists uncovered the remains of a 9,100-year-old skeleton inside a cave at Cheddar Gorge. The ancient individual, nicknamed “Cheddar Man,” is one of Britain’s oldest known skeletons and provides an invaluable glimpse into life during the Mesolithic period, shortly after the last Ice Age.

In a groundbreaking study, scientists extracted and analyzed DNA from Cheddar Man’s remains. To their surprise, they discovered that a local schoolteacher named Adrian Targett, who lives in the very same town, is a direct descendant of this ancient Briton. Their shared family link stretches back an astonishing 300 generations, proving an unbroken line of ancestry in the same region for nearly ten millennia.

JAMES: New York Attorney General Letitia James has been indicted by a grand jury in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern Court of Virginia on one count of bank fraud and one count of making false statements in connection to property she owns in Norfolk, Virginia.

JONES: Jay Jones, candidate for AG of Virginia, is getting a pass from his fellow Dems for wishing death on his opponent. Since the story broke, the big 4 public networks have devoted a combined minute and 3 seconds to the story. If the Republican candidate had been the one exposed for wishing death on his opponent, he’d be a household name.

MOZAMBIQUE: More than 30 Christians have been beheaded at the hands of Islamic State terrorists in Mozambique. I googled “Mozambique” and got only one link to this story (below). [6:35] – Revelation 6:9-11 – Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs – “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.”

PRAYER for OUR NATION: Dear Lord, Send Your angels to guard our land and grant wisdom to our security forces. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.

SCIENCE: Doctors at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital in South Korea implanted a 3D-printed, bioengineered windpipe into a woman who had lost part of her trachea during thyroid cancer surgery. The 5-cm windpipe was made from a biodegradable polymer scaffold infused with stem cells and cartilage cells. The design lets it function as a living organ rather than a mere replacement part. Six months after surgery, her body began forming new blood vessels and tissue within the implant. Doctors believe that in a few years, the synthetic scaffold will naturally dissolve, leaving behind a fully regenerated, patient-grown trachea.

Man builds the scaffolding. God’s Nature does the regeneration. Absolutely amazing.

Now can they do that with intestines? Asking for a patient.
