DAILY PRAYER: Come, Holy Spirit. Fill our hearts and our minds. Enkindle in us the fires of your love and your wisdom. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

AMERICAN HISTORY: Our first president, George Washington, was born on February 22, 1732, in Westmoreland County, Virginia Colony.

CATHOLIC: About 350,000 people have registered to venerate the relics of St. Francis of Assisi — the first public display of the bodily remains of the beloved saint. From Feb. 22 to March 22, the Lower Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi will welcome pilgrims from around the world who will come to the Italian city to pray before the body of the man whom ecclesial tradition has described as “the living mirror of the Gospel.

The event marks a moment of great historical and spiritual importance on the 800th anniversary of the saint’s death. For the first time, his body will be transferred from its resting place in an underground chapel and placed in front of the papal altar in the Lower Basilica. In this way, the church will hold a “revealed treasure” for one month, granting pilgrims time for veneration and prayer. Five of my nearest and dearest will be among them.

DEMOCRATS: James Howard Kunstler has an excellent piece about Schumer Shutdown 2.0 and The SAVE Act. It is worth your time.

HYPOCRITE: CLICK https://x.com/WesternLensman/status/2024561465311560068 [:45] to hear Governor Newsom say that, if The Save Act passes, he won’t be able to vote, because he doesn’t know where his birth certificate is.

I would like to direct the governor to California’s Department of Public Health website, linked below, which provides a convenient means to replace a lost birth certificate.

INTELLIGENT DESIGN: [9:59] – Dr. Katie Hinde’s discovered that during nursing, a baby’s saliva actually travels backward into the mother’s nipple. This tiny drop of spit acts as a biological status report. If the baby is fighting a fever or an infection, the mother’s body detects the pathogens in the saliva. Within hours, her mammary glands transform into a pharmacy. The milk surges with specific white blood cells and custom antibodies designed to fight that exact illness. When the baby gets better, the “medicine” stops, and the milk returns to normal. It wasn’t just nutrition; it was a real-time conversation between two bodies. The baby was signaling a need, and the mother was responding with a cure. She also found that breast milk contains over 200 sugars that babies can’t even digest. These sugars exist solely to feed the “good” bacteria in a baby’s gut, essentially building an immune system from scratch.

PRAYER for OUR NATION: Lord, unite our hearts and heal every division within our nation. Let Your peace rule over us all.

TARIFFS: The Supreme Court has ruled that the law Trump was invoking to issue many of his tariffs doesn’t actually give him that authority. The ruling was a 6-3 decision, with Thomas, Kavanaugh and Alito dissenting. So Trump signed an executive order imposing tariffs based on a different law.

TRANS: [4:36] – After this piece aired, U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth told CBN News that the teacher has been fired.

GRAMMY NOTES: Mama Buzz says she was at the USPS, trying to mail me a package, but “nothing was working! She kept zeroing out the scale and doing all kinds of things to reset and nothing. For I don’t know how long. Then it occurred to me to pray. I went with St Michael prayer and then also asked “whoever the patron saint of postal workers and mail carriers is” to please intercede for us. And sure enough, everything worked fine after that! So for good measure, I added “and please make sure my packages get where they’re going!” ❤

BTW, St. Gabriel is the patron saint of postal workers. The lily and horn are symbols associated with him. The “X” on his breastplate is likely meant to be the Greek letter “chi”, the first letter in ”christos” which means “annointed.”

  1. JAMES THE LESS looks fun. Three seasons so far, 19 videos. Unfortunately, the playlist has the videos in reverse order. I don’t think “the last shall be made first” was a good idea here.
