NEW JERKSEY: You know how illegal alien criminals can commit crimes in NYC and Chicago, because it is illegal for cops to tell ICE? New Jersey just made that a policy for the entire state. Gov. Mikie Sherrill just signed a package of immigration bills into law, restricting state agencies, local governments, public colleges, and healthcare facilities from participating in federal immigration operations, complying with immigration detainers, providing access to detainees for federal interviews, or sharing databases, facilities, or personnel for immigration enforcement purposes.
OH CANADA: Miriam Lancaster reports that while she was still in the emergency department at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH), a young doctor came in and said, “Miriam, I understand you’re in a lot of pain. We can offer you MAID.” (MAID stands for Medical Assistance In Dying, a “solution” to health care problems in nations like Canada where health care is “free.”)
