Don’t let Operation Demoralize win the midterms, vote

Get your friends and relatives to vote. Don’t be gaslighted.

It’s hard not to feel that in the run up to every national election the mainstream media and ‘progressive’ cultural infrastructure gaslight us into believing Democrats are destined to win.

Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation that seeks to sow seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or in members of a targeted group, making them question their own memory, perception, and sanity. Using persistent denial, misdirection, contradiction, and lying, it attempts to destabilize the victim and delegitimize the victim’s belief.

The prognosticators about the 2018 midterms are in almost precisely the same place — almost to the percentage point — that they were the day before the 2016 election.

If you needed a reminder, this is what they think of you:

All Dems Lie…Badly

DNC Chair Tries To Explain His Ridiculous Claim That Economy Was Better Under Obama… Fails Miserably

Perez: Democrats Have ‘Never Hesitated’ to Take Action Against Those Accused of Sexual Misconduct

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez said on Sunday that the Democratic party has “never hesitated” to take action against fellow Democrats who have been accused of sexual misconduct.

CNN’s “State of the Union” anchor Jake Tapper asked Perez about the allegations against the DNC vice chairman, Rep. Keith Ellison (D., Minn.).

Pelosi Says ‘I’m Really Good at What I Do’

Minority leader on letting Hoyer be House speaker for a week: ‘That can’t be a serious question’

I have for a long time tried to have a path for other people to take over,” she said. “They have to go out there to get a following. They have to show their legislative chops. There are any number of people who could do that.”

By indicating that it is time for a generational change, Pelosi effectively disqualified her top two colleagues in House Democratic leadership—Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (Md.) and Assistant Democratic Leader Jim Clyburn (S.C.), both of whom are in their late 70s—from becoming speaker.

The Stakes Today, Election Day

Politics today is a bloodsport, and sometimes that’s literal – ask Steve Scalise. This garbage about both sides and “Trump encouraging hate” is the same kind of lies we’ve been hearing from our opponents for decades, and it’s just as dishonest. The conflict comes from the left. The hate comes from the left. The violence comes from the left.
Sometimes the truth is unpleasant, that our leftist opponents despise us. They do not believe that we have a right to participate in our own governance. Given the chance they will govern us accordingly.

To them we’re bad people, morally unfit to have a say and obligated by their bizarre secular theology to submit to the indignities, disrespect, and abuse they heap upon us. That’s what they think. And that’s how they will govern if they win today.

They would rather burn this country down than allow it to prosper without them in charge. Why? Because the only thing that matters to them is their power. The only thing that matters to them is their position. That, and crushing you under their heels. They enjoy that.

So what if they reverse our great economy? The military rebuild? The regulatory roll-back? American’s interests are merely collateral damage in their fight for the greater good, which is defined as their greater power. They just want to make sure they get 50% plus one. The rest of us can rot.

The Latest From VDH

Victor Davis Hanson is such a gifted writer, I’m green with envy. This is his latest piece. Well worth your time to read.

CNN’s Existential War With Trump

After just 100 days in office, before his own agendas could even be enacted, the liberal Shorenstein Center at Harvard reported that 93 percent of CNN’s coverage of the Trump Administration was already negative. Just one in every 13 CNN stories proved positive. That radically asymmetrical pattern (shared by NBC/MSNBC) had never been seen before in the history of comparable media analytics. No one at CNN sought to explain the imbalance, leaving the impression that the news organization had more or less joined the progressive opposition.

The best way to stop the chronic Trump attacks on the veracity of CNN is not to unleash a rude and boisterous Acosta to argue endlessly with Sarah Huckabee Sanders, but simply to ensure that CNN news reports are fact-checked and not in need of retractions or firings, that CNN hosts, contributors, and anchors do not stoop to profanity, scatology, racism, and a historical comparisons to Stalin and Hitler, and that CNN’s staff and hosts do not joke about the president being killed through plane crashes and decapitation.

The Hardest Working Man In Politics

This was Trump’s agenda yesterday:

Trump Schedule || Monday, November 5, 2018

2:45 pm || Delivers remarks at a Make America Great Again Rally; I-X Center, Cleveland
4:15 pm || Departs Cleveland
5:15 pm || Arrives Fort Wayne, Indiana
6:05 pm || Delivers remarks at a Make America Great Again Rally; Allen County War Memorial Coliseum; Fort Wayne, Indiana
7:55 pm || Departs Fort Wayne, Indiana
8:10 pm CT || Arrives at Cape Girardeau, Missouri
9:00 pm CT || Delivers remarks at a Make America Great Again rally; The Show Me Center, Cape Girardeau, Missouri
10:40 pm CT || Departs Cape Girardeau, Missouri
1:40 am || Arrives White House

Without exception, he’s worked hard and the people have responded with turn away crowds full of joy and enthusiasm. In the reply section to this thread, I’ll post some highlights from these rallies. They could be separate threads on another day, but there’s just too much else going on.

Hometown hero, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity shared the stage with the president in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Lee Greenwood sang “God Bless The USA.” You’ll never hear that anywhere the democrats gather …. Never.

Here’s the video. Talk about enthusiasm.

The Talk is Finished..It’s Time To Act

Win or lose, if you think the brutality of the left would be in any way diminished, you’re not paying attention. Some pollsters show the races tightening as they always do. They’re just trying to cover their backsides in case the “blue wave” fails to materialize.

The left will commit rampant fraud, as they always do. Hillary got 5 million illegal votes, and that was when the left knew the election was “in the bag.”

There’s no telling how much they’ll get away with this time. It’s a tried and true formula, since they never pay any price.

The democrats have the media, all the glitterati, the entire educational system and almost limitless funds from socialist billionaires yearning for a One World Order.

We have us.

The legacy of those who came before and the future of our children to follow is at stake. Don’t think for a second your vote doesn’t count. It’s a right men and women have paid dearly to preserve. Make your voice heard today.

Trump’s American Turnaround:

Why the Midterms Matter

•Blowing up political correctness, because an American turnaround cannot happen if we are unable recover the meaning of words and talk forthrightly about what is really going on.

•Delegitimizing the false narratives of the mainstream media, because a turnaround cannot be sustained if basic communication channels remain corrupted.

•Taking down the administrative state, because a turnaround will fail if unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats continue to override the sovereignty of the American people by controlling our society.

Turnarounds Begin Only When Enough People Accept Something Is Wrong

Like many turnaround efforts, the past months confirmed a deep cultural and political crisis, with numerous irreconcilable differences.

Tuesday is up to you

On October 20, 2016, John Cassidy, in The New Yorker, confidently declared about Donald Trump, “He’s going out as a sore loser, raving at the world, threatening to unleash chaos.” Joe Scarborough, on MSNBC, said on August 15, 2016, “That’s a guy who knows he is going to lose. That’s a guy who knows he is going to lose.”

Regardless of what pollsters, pundits, and professionals may say, the fact is that no one knows what will happen on Tuesday. Will there be a blue wave? Is it going to be a split decision? Is it possible a red wave will form? I don’t know, nor does anyone else. There are some interesting aspects of this election cycle, though, that are going underreported.

The bottom line is this: no one knows what Tuesday will bring. Don’t let the opinions of the experts discourage you. What happens on Tuesday is up to you. Vote.

WashPo/ABC News Poll Has Ominous News For Democrats

But one issue stands out: border security. Amazingly, the pollsters admit it’s the first time they’ve asked about border security, and 59 percent of registered voters said it is an important issue in the election. Eighty-four percent of Republicans and 47 percent of Democrats ranked border security as a key issue; independents were evenly split. Republicans have a ten-point lead over Democrats on the question of who will better handle border security, and a 19-point lead among independents

On Tuesday, all eyes will be on the more than two dozen toss-up House races. It’s here where Democrats don’t appear to have the strong advantage they need to win several of these contests that will take them over the top. The poll shows a slim preference for Democrats—49-44 percent—in these toss-up districts; considering the margin of error in the poll (3.5 percent), it’s essentially a tie.
