108 House Democrats tell Jim Mattis troops should not be sent to the border

A handful of ranking members from related House committees and 104 rank-and-file Democratic lawmakers sent the top Pentagon official a letter Thursday to say, first and foremost, they do not approve of the operation, and then to ask what it will cost the government.

“The use of military personnel, however, will not help us meet this challenge and only exacerbates the potential to unnecessarily escalate the situation. This effort is nothing short of a militarization of the southern border to score political points and stoke misleading fears among Americans regarding immigrants,” the group said.

While the media flashed pictures of young people in cages and blamed Trump, it was actually Obama who had done it.

Speaking about the incoming wave of caravan illegals, President Trump said, “We’re working on a system where [families] stay together.”

“Under the Obama plan you could separate children, they never did anything about that, nobody talks about that,” Trump said. “But under President Obama, they separated children from the parents.”

The result of hundreds of “sanctuary cities” is not just to forbid full immigration enforcement in particular jurisdictions. They also signal that U.S. immigration law, and by extension other laws, can be ignored.

The presence of an estimated 12 million or more foreign nationals unlawfully living in the U.S. without legal consequence sends a similar message. The logical result is the current caravan of thousands of Central Americans now inching its way northward to enter the U.S. illegally.

Congressional Black Caucus wants a top Democratic leadership spot

They still refuse to see what gullible fools the democrat leadership thinks they are. The top spots in the party belong to the white folk, all notoriously racist. You’ll get your share of the profits as long as you keep the plantation dwellers whipped up against republicans and deliver the numbers.

“African Americans deserve more than a simple gesture of gratitude — they deserve representation at the apex of the party’s infrastructure,” Richmond wrote.

Currently, Nancy Pelosi serves as the Democratic minority leader, while Steny Hoyer serves as the minority whip, the No. 2 position. Pelosi is seeking the role of speaker of the House should Democrats reclaim the chamber and one source told CNN Hoyer is expected to seek the majority leader spot.

South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn, the current No. 3 leader as House assistant minority leader, has also indicated that he would be interested in a leadership position.

The North Dakota arm of the Democratic Party is running ads on Facebook discouraging hunters from turning out to vote in Tuesday’s midterm elections lest they lose their out-of-state hunting licenses. A spokesman for North Dakota Gaming and Fish said, “We’ve never heard of [anyone losing a license after voting].”

Big finale: Media aims at both Trump and GOP

Broadcasters now appear intent on creating a negative grand finale as the midterm elections loom, lashing out at the GOP as well.

“The broadcast networks are heavily spinning their campaign coverage against the Republicans. The spin of this coverage was lopsidedly anti-Republican and anti-Trump,” writes Rich Noyes, a senior analyst for the conservative press watchdog.

Based on coverage from Sept. 1 through Oct. 26, Mr. Noyes and his team found that 88 percent of that broadcast coverage was “hostile.” They also counted 97 blatantly negative statements about the president and Republicans, compared to 10 for the Democrats.

Donald Trump Willing to Send 15,000 Troops to Secure Southern Border

As Chrissy just posted, most of this mob are violent criminals. If they believe we will not use deadly force to stop them, they will overrun this country. The media would go berserk, but they’ll do that no matter what. Expect the few women and children to be right up front for all the cameras to see. You will not stop them with empty threats.

“We’ll do up to anywhere between ten and 15,000 military personnel, on top of border patrol, ICE, and everybody else at the border,” Trump said. “Nobody is coming in.”

Trump also said he would end the practice of “catch and release” by setting up “tent cities” for migrants at the Southern border who claimed asylum.

Trump dismissed a reporter who asked him if he was “fear-mongering” about the migrant caravan of over 4,000 people traveling through Mexico to the Southern border.

“No, not fear mongering at all,” he said. “Immigration is a very important subject.”
