CNN just keeps getting worse and worse

Kathy Griffin Kisses Anderson Cooper’s Crotch On National Television

By Noel Sheppard | January 01, 2013

No matter what vulgar things Kathy Griffin does on CNN’s live New Year’s Eve broadcasts, the folks at the supposedly most trusted name in news continue to invite her back.

On Monday night’s program, after first telling co-host Anderson Cooper “I’m going to tickle your sack,” she shortly after midnight actually kissed his crotch (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

Roughly eleven minutes into the program which began at 10 PM, Cooper commented about how on Twitter folks were suggesting that there should be a game that whenever he giggles nervously during the show, contestants have to take a drink.

Then, completely out of the blue, Griffin said, “I’m going to tickle your sack. You can say sack. That’s not bad.”

An obviously nervous Cooper responded, “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I have no sack of gifts here.”

Griffin then suggested the camera pan lower so the audience can see her “naughty gestures.”

When Cooper continued to try and clean it up by again referring to a sack of Christmas presents, Griffin asked, “You’re calling your privates your Christmas presents?”

When Cooper said, “No,” Griffin replied, “That’s typical hot guy. ‘Let’s open up the Christmas presents.’”

But Griffin wasn’t finished with her lewd behavior.

Shortly after midnight, Cooper showed viewers how they celebrate New Year’s Eve in Eastport, Maine.

National correspondent Gary Tuchman reported live that there’s a custom in the town to kiss a statue of an eight-foot sardine that they drop from the museum at the stroke of midnight. People were then shown kissing the sardine.

As Tuchman finished his report, Griffin in the left split-screen bent down and kissed Cooper’s crotch.

As she continued to try to kiss it, Cooper asked her, “Did you drop something?”

“No, I was kissing your sardine,” Griffin replied.

“Thank you. I got it,” giggled Cooper.

“I can do it again,” Griffin said kneeling. “I can do this all night long.”

“No, sweetie,” said Cooper lifting her back on her feet.

“I’m going on Letterman in two nights, and he wants a moment,” argued Griffin as she went down again.

“I’m going down,” she said. “You know you want to.”

“Believe me, I really don’t,” said Cooper as he once again pulled her upright.

“It’s after midnight,” protested Griffin.

“I never have,” argued Cooper.

“No one’s even going to, what’s the big deal?” responded Griffin as she went down again.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Cooper said pulling her up as he handed it off to Brooke Baldwin in New Orleans.

Is this what the self-described “most trusted name in news” considers acceptable fare?

Consider that during the 2009 show, Griffin dropped an F-bomb. The year before she directed a vulgar oral sex reference to a heckler. Last year she stripped down to her underwear.

Yet CNN keeps inviting her back.

Boggles the mind, doesn’t it?

2012_12 Parker and Griffin

ESPN has suspended commentator Rob Parker for comments he made regarding Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III last Thursday on ESPN’s “First Take.”

Parker questioned Griffin’s “blackness.”

“Is he a brother or a cornball brother? … We all know he has a white fiancée. There was all this talk about he’s a Republican, which, there’s no information [about that] at all. I’m just trying to dig deeper as to why he has an issue.

DeMaurice Smith, executive director of the NFL Players Association, told The Washington Post in an email Friday:

“Robert can certainly take care of himself. Nonetheless … people need to be held accountable for the offensive things that they say.”

Jon Stewart SHREDS Obama response to attacks

Pete’s probably got this posted already. Or will have it tomorrow. I’m going to stick it here regardless. It’s THAT GOOD.

Plus, I have the worst case of conjunctivitis ever, both eyes are horror-movie-demon-eye RED, swollen, HURT LIKE HELL … it’s hard to read. It hurts to read. I’m doing what I can and would appreciate prayers. I took a pic of my eyes but it turned out so dang creepy, I’m gonna spare you.

Trying to offer it up for the nation while simultaneously whining at everyone I know to please pray, dousing myself with everything in my available arsenal and fervently hoping tomorrow will be better.

Now, Jon Stewart …

I’ve been waiting for this!

Actor John Cusack:

Obama accepted the Nobel Peace Prize while sending 30,000 more troops to a ten-year-old conflict. Why? We’ll never fully know.

Under Obama do we continue to call the thousands of mercenaries in Afghanistan “general contractors” now that Bush is gone? No, we don’t talk about them… not a story anymore.

Do we prosecute felonies like torture or spying on Americans? No, time to “move on.”

Drones bomb Pakistani villages across the border at an unprecedented rate. Is it legal? Does anyone care?

The American dream, home ownership, education, the opportunity to get a good job if you applied yourself … and on and on. Yeah, what happened to that? It’s gone.

I don’t know how to bring myself to vote for a constitutional law professor, or even a constitutional realist, who throws away due process and claims the authority that the executive branch can assassinate American citizens. I just don’t know if I can bring myself to do it.

If you want to make a protest vote against Romney, go ahead, but I would think we’d be better putting our energies into local and state politics — occupy Wall Street and organizations and movements outside the system, not national politics, not personalities. Not stadium rock politics. Not brands.

Source: The above is from “Interview with Law Professor Jonathan Turley About Obama Administration’s War On the Constitution” by John Cusack – Aug 20, 2012. I added the emphasis. I disagree with just about every political position Cusack stated in his article. You’d think someone so far left of center would be firmly in Obama’s base. Not any more! Media: Obama is egotistical, selfish, dull – Sep 3, 2012

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0912/80598.html

Excerpts: As the Democratic National Convention gets under way, five major media outlets lobbed high-profile bombs at Obama.

  • The New York Times ran a front-page piece Monday with the unmistakable subtext that Obama is a hyper-competitive egotist who often is not as good as he thinks he is.
  • The Washington Post noted the continued controversy over Obama’s “you didn’t build that” line, and how the clumsy remark continues to leave him vulnerable to criticism that he doesn’t understand free enterprise.
  • The Huffington Post argued that, for all his promises of a new kind of politics, Obama has “played the same old game.”
  • The Wall Street Journal weighed in with a piece that portrayed Obama as stingy with fundraising — and vocal support — for fellow Democratic candidates. “We really do believe a high tide raises all boats,” Obama campaign manager Jim Messina told the Journal, explaining how Obama’s success would help others win.
  • And POLITICO landed with an against-the-grain portrait of Obama as a conventional president — “relentlessly familiar” in his governing style, politically uncreative and culturally uninspiring.

The convergence of skeptical pieces, all of which suggest Obama has failed to live up to the mythic expectations he set for himself in 2008, signal that Obama may be facing unprecedented media headwinds just as the nation’s voters are really tuning in to the 2012 campaign.

Elizabeth Warren DNC speech: Charlotte star, Massachusetts underdog – Sep 3, 2012

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0912/80607.html

Excerpt: Elizabeth Warren will take the stage in Charlotte on Wednesday night feted as one of the Democratic Party’s brightest stars, a heroine of the progressive left and potential presidential material. Back in Massachusetts, to the amazement of many in her party, Warren enters the fall home stretch against Republican Sen. Scott Brown behind in polls, trailing among independents and even failing to lock down her own party.

O’Brien is a Lazy Leftist

Soledad O’Brien is an award-winning American broadcast journalist with a degree from Harvard and the anchor on CNN’s morning news program Starting Point.

But if you think she is someone you can trust to report the truth about what matters and what does not, think again.

In the fall of 2008, she falsely reported that Governor Palin had slashed Alaska’s special education budget by 62%, when Palin had actually increased it.

And this week, she revealed to all the world that her only apparent preparation for a Romney aide interview was to print out some left-wing blog’s Democrat talking points.

Joyless BeWhore’s Nasty Mouth

Can you imagine if Rush Limbaugh said he’d enjoy seeing Obama’s home burn down, that he could call the Black or Muslim Fire Patrol? Sheesh.
