Barack Obama said,
“In North Carolina alone, there are 153 structurally deficient bridges that need to be repaired. Four of them are near here, on or around the Beltline. Why would we wait to act until another bridge falls?”
The DOT’s division chief for that area says,
“We don’t have any bridge out there that is structurally inadequate, where it cannot handle the traffic. We make sure those bridges stay in a good state of repair.”
The White House and Laughing Stock Media say,
Obama may have “over-suggested” the danger to public safety.
Anyone who is paying attention knows:
- The Solyndra debacle is a major scandal. The Associated Press called it an “embarrassment.”
- Obama’s failure to comply with the 60-day requirement to seek congressional authorization for continuing to have U.S. troops involved in Libya under the War Powers Act was breaking the law. AP called it “skipping a legal deadline.”
- Obama’s numerous tall tales about people who died for lack of health care that they did not lack has been presented by the likes of the New York Times as “mischaracterizations.”
Meanwhile, the Left goes to the other extreme with their political opponents, imagining words that were never spoken, then condemning the person who never spoke them for having probably thought them.
And they swear that THEY’RE the “tolerant” ones.
