Philadelphia Mayor speaks

Posted by Chrissy the Hyphenated

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter took the podium at his church in West Philly on Sunday, August 7, 2011 to admonish teens for making the city look bad with the recent mob attacks and “diminishing their race.”

Start at about 25:00 and listen to the END. Seriously, you have to catch the last parts where he gets a standing ovation from the parents! LOL It’s fabulous to see a black leader say these things!

H/t to JW for sending me the link.

I know for a fact that a lot of married couples and elderly are dismayed to see the black culture sinking into the entitlement swamp.Mayor Nutter is spot on,but he can’t penetrate the thug culture.Hopefully many of them feel they can vote for a man of principle like Cain without betraying their race.
I think thats part of the reason the left has shown such intense hatred toward him.

I agree the Left is running spit-less scared of a black on black presidential ticket. But we have the internet and the radio now, so the power of the Democratic Media Complex is no longer absolute.

I got SO MUCH hope on this score from reading “Setting the Record Straight” right after reading “Righteous Indignation.” (Note to self: Post about that)

A few hopeful thoughts I’m having about black voters … thugs can barely read and write, never mind vote, blacks who have wised up to the Left are turning into mouthy Conservatives educating their peers about the real Democratic Party (KKK etc.), and Maafa 21 has turned the black churches from queasily pro-choice to militantly anti-abortion.

I think sensible blacks have been out there forever, feeling dis-empowered and alone. Some, like Bill Cosby, tried to speak out but were flayed by the Sharptons and Jacksons every time. Now, though, conservative black leaders are rising up in greater numbers and empowering their communities. The rousing ovation Nutter got is proof that there is a LOT of powerful emotion pent up in those people. They have just needed leadership.

My niece (blonde and blue) is married to a black man who runs a group home for the disabled. They have a biracial son who could’ve played “young Obama” in 2008. I thought he looked more like Obama than Obama’s (alleged) childhood photos look like Obama.

Anyway, I wrote to my niece because I was concerned about all the “Republicans are RAAAACISTS” crap the Dems were throwing around. We were supporting McPalin and I didn’t want her to think we didn’t love her and her guys. She assured me she thought no such thing and that they were supporting Obama because he was biracial and therefore a great role model for their son.

One of the things that makes me truly sad about the Obama presidency is that it has been so awful. I would have preferred my sweet little nephew had gotten a better role model than Barack the narcissistic boy-child.
