            There is a scene in Larry Elder’s gun control documentary “Michael & Me” where a gang banger is asked, “Would you stop killing if you had no guns?”

            He says, “Hell no. We’d just use knives, bats and chains or anything else we could get our hands on.”

            If you have not seen this video, please do. I was very ho hum and weasly on gun control until I watched it. In the space of 90 minutes, my opinion changed 180 degrees. It is that compelling.

      Even the dumbest American has to understand that fining oil companies now would make gas prices go even higher. We have not even changed over to that expensive summer formula yet in IL. Can’t wait.
