      Holy Crap!
      I followed some of the links in this article after this sentence peaked my interest:

      SO I followed the links because I thought, WTF are they doing in my county. It turns out they are meeting as an Evangelical church!

      They know they will not win in Nov. unless they can cheat. They will steal this election if we are not all vigilant.
      And we need to guilt anyone who says they won’t vote because they can’t stand Romney to VOTE anyway!

      They are saying they want the govt. to fund jobs for these gangbangers? Seriously? That would be the day a thug would actually put in a day of work.
      How about the church organize crews to clean up their own neighborhood? Get rid of graffitti. Paint the schools? etc.

      I once worked for a summer park district program in a poor neighborhood outside of Chicago. It was a program for little kids, but the gangers would come by and try to intimidate me. We did not have cell phones in those days, so the park staffers had to come by everyday to check on us. The parents loved my program, but they were afraid to ever send their kids to this park to play otherwise. Everything was always being vandalized. We had a storage box for our art supplies that was always being broken into, so I ended up having to bring stuff with me every time. These kids had no sense of direction and no one to guide them. That is the problem.
      These social problems cannot be cured outside of their own communities. They must be solved from within. That means PARENTING. My grandfather was dirt poor but he would beat the crap out of my uncles if they got into trouble in school. Now it is considered a badge of honor to take on the school system.
      I think it is great that this church is trying to form a peaceful march, but THEY need to be their own solution to their own problems.

    Haven’t checked this out yet but DH called from work today to tell me the “big news” about Obama. Something about Politico today having a “breaking” story about Obama’s daughter and her friends going to Mexico without the President but using Air Force One. Now I know we talked about this a week ago but I guess it is news to most. Here is the kicker: People at DH’s work were upset because it was just put up on Politico this AM and it was,….shock……scrubbed! This is the first time the people he works with have seen/experienced our all-to-familiar scrub-a-dub-dub. I do not know if this is true or it is just last week’s news finally making the rounds but with the new added twist of Air Force One…….
