Well, that could be true — although it’s hard to imagine Joe being able to keep quiet about it, since he has a tendency just to blurt out whatever’s on his little mind.

I am remembering that story now. It was something about Larry Sinclair being arrested and held in jail until after the election. The attorney general of the state (Delaware? Maryland?) was Biden’s son. I don’t remember anything more than that.

To be fair … Joe was talking specifically about how Romney’s opposition to the Buffett Rule was the reason we’d have such a wail worthy deficit. Maybe my simplification was not totally kosher, but Joe was lying through his teeth about Romney’s position AND about the effect of the Buffett Rule, so I figured, screw it.
