    An added benefit of not bumping uglies with members of the clown bus is that ladies will stop producing children who may grow up to become conservatives.

    Wow. I’m so relieved to learn that all of my life values are nothing more than a genetic defect I inherited from some slime bucket progenitor who voted Republican. I’m not sure who that would be, since I’m a second generation Catholic across the board and the way I understand political history, that means I was not just raised Democrat, but born and bred from shortly after everybody in my family tree got off their respective boats.

    Maybe it was that one English grannie who never did convert from Episcopalian to the True Faith. My mom told me that ancestress thought about it once, even went to talk to her husband’s parish priest. He told her she was going to hell if she didn’t convert. She told him to go to hell and that was the end of that.

    I guess it could’ve come from there. It certainly did NOT come from the Irish Catholic grandfathers on both sides! Maybe the other grandmother … now she was Catholic, but German, and goodness knows, there was that whole NAZI thing which, admittedly happened after she left the old sod, but still. She might have brought some recessive gene that lurked in the maternal line and then met up with the same gene from the paternal Pisky to produce me who didn’t buckle down and obey my genetic programming to Vote Republican until I was in my late 40s.
