It has been amusing to watch the dems turn themselves inside out the last few days over Romney’s comments about having prospective women candidates’Â pictures in binders when he was looking for potential work personnel.They’re all off on disparate tangents about the war on wimmins and Obama has mentioned it in every speech.To anybody with two functioning brain cells they see this is nothing more than distracting from the fact they have nothing to offer that would not have them facing felony charges in the private sector.Judging from the polls,their panic is not without cause.Hopefully you all took my advice and invested in popcorn futures.There’s a red Ferrari I’ve got my eye on.It would make me the fastest newspaper carrier in the free world.

I was in the city a couple of weeks ago, and I did not see any Obama stuff anywhere. No shirts in the gift shops, no stickers on the news boxes. Very few bumper stickers either. This stuff was everywhere four years ago. He is just an after note now, even for Chicagoans.

Rufus Fears … Rufus Fears is perhaps best known outside of Oklahoma, however, for his fantastic series of lectures published by the Teaching Company. These works represent nearly 150 hours of entertaining and insightful presentations on subjects ranging from mythology, classical literature, and the Great Books to the political, religious, and intellectual history of Europe, the Americas, and beyond. As it happens, I was just listening to his fascinating 36-lecture series on the history of freedom when I learned of Professor Fears’s untimely death.
