Bob (or somebody!) … WordPress changed the way you embed videos and I can’t figure it out. Harumph. Could I get a fix and a tutorial?

I edited the post above to embed the video.
I did two things:
You can compare versions of the post to see the before and after. The stand-alone URL will embed the video, but if you accidentally hit enter in the editor and WordPress turns it into a hyperlink with the a href tags, then it won’t embed the YouTube video, it will just be a link…

Thank you! If I understand correctly, just posting the plain old URL embeds, right? That’s how it’s always been for comments, but they made you jump through hoops to embed in the body of the blog. And I was so used to it being complicated, I couldn’t figure out they’d simplified it.
