It looked a little grim,but I think I found enough non-depressing (for the most part) news for the normal Friday sendoff for the weekend.
I gave a lot of thought to what it would take for the Acolytes to turn away from their man-child.

Maybe the problem is that so many of these lifelong Dem voters don’t think it’s cheating as long as it achieves their goals. They’ve always been the party of ‘the end justifies the means’. But somewhere deep down, they must know what they do is wrong, because they’d be screaming bloody murder if the Right tried any of their tactics.

Nothing a bunch of kids like better than munching on stuff they feed their pet rabbits.When I was in the hospital I ordered a ‘garden salad’ from the cafeteria.It was the gawd-awfullest stuff I ever ate.I swear they dipped a bowl in the grass catcher on the mower one of the illegals was running.I griped to the cafeteria worker on the phone that our cattle and horses ate better than that.I carried on a war with the cafeteria for 9 days.It was the most fun I had.

Well, at least you didn’t throw a shaker of fake salt at the poor guy bringing in the trays, like my grandfather did. It was one of those times when you just want to disappear so as not to be mortified.

My husband was in the cardiac care unit for five days earlier this year, and the food at the hospital he was in was great. He showed me the menu he ordered off of and you couldn’t tell it from a menu you’d see at a nice restaurant. It made me sick! When I was in the hospital having my babies, the food they gave me was horrible. And I didn’t get to order off any menu, either — they just brought you whatever slop they happened to be serving that day.

My husband, son, and daughter all give blood regularly, but I am the one who is type A-. I have tried several times over the years but I do not meet the minimum weight requirement. But I am on the bone marrow donor list. I think that I would be happy to do that if asked but it has been about 20 years now and nobody in need has matched up with me.
My husband actually won a trip to the Turks and Caicos for a week back in 2009 from the blood bank. They were having a contest during the summer to try to get donors in there and awarding the trip to a random donor each month during June, July and August. He didn’t even know anything about the contest until they called to tell him that he had won because he just goes whenever it is the minimum time anyway. I got to go, too, but I felt pretty guilty about enjoying myself without ever having donated a drop.
