The figures on the families owning vs. not owning slaves, low-information voters demand to know if the slave families included among the 92% non-slave-owning families? (Statistics are a bottomless snakepit.)

Or just explain to LIVs that slaves were considered PROPERTY and were listed only as total individuals, not as families. The breakdown at the census is quite clear.
