Thanks to President Stompy Foot, elderly residents were given 24 hours notice before being forced out of their private homes on Lake Mead. They own the homes, but the land is federal. The order affected some 60 families.
Obama’s and Biden’s homes are not just on federal land, but are owned by the government. Just saying.
On Twitter, President Petty-Pants’ behavior has sparked a new name for the federally-owned structure wherein he apparently plans to reside for life … The Spite House.

Spite House! I love it! Seriously, though….I wouldn’t ever have built a house on land owned by someone else – much less the federal government. I guess I just would not ever want to cede that much power over my daily life to any other entity or person. I still feel terrible for those people, though.

Also, I would think that it would be a violation of any normal lease to deny access to the property. Could they demand a pro-rated refund of their rent? Which would only cost us more money we don’t have….
