Christians are the most persecuted religious minority group in Iran. Iranian believers, especially those who convert from Islam to Christianity, are routinely imprisoned and labeled as threats to national security.
Since 2006, a secret television station known as Mohabat TV has been beaming the Good News into Iran from multiple secret locations and gaining souls for Christ.
Iranian authorities don’t like it one bit, but as we’ve seen in the past, “the blood of martyrs is the seed of the Church” (Tertullian, 2d century Christian).
A Mohabat spokesman says the harsh treatment of Christians is reportedly fueling church growth as new Christians in Iran risk arrest, torture and death to spread the Good News to others.
