We tried it tonight with pork chunks sauteed in coconut oil. The meat was very tender. Hubby thought it was delicious, but I could taste the baking soda despite having washed the meat carefully. I think we’ll do this again, but I plan to marinate the meat in something to mask that faint baking soda flavor.
