GOP DEBATE: Cruz on illegal immigration

Cruz is exactly right.

VIDEO @ http://therightscoop.com/ted-cruz-kills-it-on-illegal-immigration-video/

Saying Republicans are anti-immigration is offensive. We’re pro-law abiding immigrants! Besides which, Mexico and most other countries have zero tolerance for illegals. Why should we be any different?

Immigration laws

Saying Republicans lack compassion is also offensive. IMO, Democrats are the hard-hearted ones for so blithely ignoring the suffering of the millions of Americans that their horrible economic policies have put out of work.

  1. Let’s all agree to stop using that phony-baloney 11-12 million illegal count, which has been referenced for the past two decades. No new illegals in all that time?

The real number is now somewhere around 40 million (http://www.cairco.org/issues/how-many-illegal-aliens-reside-united-states-elbel). A third of Mexico is now living in America.

Our government literally lies to us about everything.

    Donald Trump Nukes Obamatrade

    Trump said:

This is one of the worst trade deals. And I would… rather not have it. With all of these countries, and all of the bad ones getting advantage and taking advantage of what the good ones would normally get, I’d rather make individual deals with individual countries. We will do much better. We lose a fortune on trade. The United States loses with everybody. We’re losing now over $500 billion in terms of imbalance with China, $75 billion a year imbalance with Japan. By the way, Mexico—$50 billion a year imbalance. So I must say… I just think it’s a terrible deal.

John Kasich: TPP Trade Deal ‘Critical’

    SO LONG,JOHNNY

“The trade agreement – the TPP – it’s critical to us not only for economic reasons and for jobs because there’s so many people who are connected to getting jobs because of trade, but it allows us to create not only economic alliances, but also potentially strateigic alliances against the Chinese,” Kasich argued in support of the nearly 6,000 page agreement – longer than Obamacare and the failed Gang of Eight immigration bill combined.

Fox Business moderators shine by not shining
Moderators for Tuesday’s Republican presidential primary debate, hosted by Fox Business, went almost entirely unnoticed during an event heavy on economics and policy, and in the eyes of many outdid the moderators of the CNBC-hosted debate in October.

Ahead of the debate, co-moderators Neil Cavuto and Maria Bartiromo of Fox Business, with assistance from Wall Street Journal editor in chief Gerard Baker, planned to go minimalist in their roles. In multiple interviews, Cavuto had said it was it was his intention to be virtually “invisible,” focus on policy questions and let the candidates make the news.

Jeb Bush, John Kasich seal their fates by pandering to illegal immigrants

Even having this conversation sends a powerful signal,” he whined as real estate mogul and presidential front-runner Donald Trump tangled with the Democratic wing of the Republican Party over the insanity of allowing 12 million illegal aliens to roam free in America without the slightest concern that our country’s laws might just apply to them.

Debate Audience Sours on John Kasich, Boos Him During Bailout Discussion
Ohio Governor John Kasich fought for more time during the Fox Business debate this evening, but as he grew increasingly agitated over what he saw as a lack of experience on key issues, the audience got tired of his preaching.

  9. What an awesome debate. So much unscripted, honest, serious back & forth. So unique the Democrats who completely bury the real issues. I’d like to see them be a tenth this entertaining, too!
