The pro-aborts like to parade bloody coat hangers to evoke the alleged slaughter of “25,000 women a year” by illegal “back alley” abortionists. It’s a load of donkey doo.
In 1972, illegal abortions killed 39 women nation-wide.
We can be confident of that number because
(a) abortion deaths were actually reported where it was illegal to perform them and
(b) pro-aborts did not object to this statistic when it was presented to Congress.
The simple fact is that women choosing abortion were SAFER back when abortion was a felony.
There’s no way of telling now how many women are maimed and killed by legal abortionists, because the system works to cover up their crimes.
