281st round: Obama plays at least 46 full days golf
President Obama, fresh from his whirlwind spring break trip to Cuba and Argentina, hit the links for some R&R Saturday, playing his 281st round since becoming president. He was at Andrews for over five hours.
That is slightly more than three quarters of a year of days playing the presidential sport for Obama. The president typically plays for at least four hours, sometimes longer, putting his time at over 1,100 hours golfing, or at least 46 full 24-hour days.
According to the White House press pool, he is at Joint Base Andrews playing with regulars Sam Kass, the former White House chef, long-time friend Greg Orme, and aides Marvin Nicholson and Joe Paulsen. It is a beautiful day in Washington, and in the mid-50s at Andrews.

Obama shockingly calls for openness to more refugees in weekly address following Brussels attack
In the aftermath of the horrific attacks in Brussels, President Obama called for Americans to lead by “example” in being more open to the acceptance of Syrian refugees.
“As we move forward in this fight, we have to wield another weapon alongside our airstrikes, our military, and our counterterrorism work, and our diplomacy. And that’s the power of our example,” he remarked during his weekly address Saturday.
Obama’s remarks drew stiff criticism from “Fox & Friends Weekend” host Tucker Carlson.
He observed that with a lifetime of Secret Service protection he won’t bear any of the consequences.
“Who’s going to live with the consequences of that?” Carlson asked.
“He’ll never face the consequences of this, and yet the rest of us will.”

The University of Missouri (MU) is losing about 1500 students and is facing a huge $32 million budget shortfall four months after it attracted national attention as the site of massive race-based campus protests.
“I am writing to you today to confirm that we project a very significant budget shortfall due to an unexpected sharp decline in first-year enrollments and student retention this coming fall. As a guest on “CNN Tonight” with Don Lemon on Wednesday, Jebreal argued for funding Islamic integration into society when she went after Buck Sexton, a former CIA analyst.
