My 3/32 Shawnee ancestry really hates this video and totally blames the 17/32 Irish part for all the drunkenness in my background that’s blamed on the Shawnee part. But we all still approve of the message. Thanks, Bird!

My 2/4 Irish (both grandfathers), 1/4 English and 1/4 German ancestry approves this message and laughed hysterically. Somehow I missed out on the Irish drunken thing. I got drunk once in college, didn’t like it, and never repeated the experience. My younger brother did the same thing. Maybe it was the grandmothers. π

I had the same experience — drank too much wine one evening, got tipsy, didn’t like the feeling, and never did it again. It’s probably because I’m a control freak and the feeling of being out of control was intensely unpleasant to me.

Ditto me. Also the hangover. YUCK.

It’s also what my brother said. “I didn’t like not being in control.”

Wish my brother had taken that attitude — he might still be alive today.
