I am weepy with relief and happy dancing with gratitude to God. In other Hyphen Clan news, the Texans are puking, but the Buzzers are just one day’s drive from their destination. I’m not entirely “over” my disappointment that they didn’t get to come see us first, but we’re starting to plan when they will come, so that helps! They’re all homesick for family. Daddy Buzz is from New England, so their six years in Alaska meant very few and far between visits with his side too.

QUASHING RIGHT-WING SPEECH: A document has been revealed that shows how, after Trump’s election, various leftist groups got together to plan how to take back the government. In particular, they plotted to collaborate with Facebook and Twitter to suppress right-wing speech on social media. And that’s exactly what’s happened.

ABOLISH ICE: If ICE were abolished, minority communities would be disproportionately harmed, said Matthew T. Albence, the agency’s executive associate director for enforcement and removal. “These minority communities are the primary victims now, because these individuals are involved in gang activity and other criminal activity and generally they commit those crimes against those in the same communities in which they reside.”

RUH ROH: A new CBS poll looked into the views and voting trends of young (18-35) American women … and it doesn’t bode well for the Democrats.
Abortion: Democrats say it must be legal in all cases (and taxpayers should foot the bill). Only 28% agreed.
Feminism: Democrats make great claims to be on board, including the ones who rape, beat, and force abortions on females. Do you consider yourself a feminist? 54% said no. And 50% said the #MeToo movement either “won’t change things much” or it will make things “worse.”
Media: Do you trust the media to give you accurate information all the time? 7% said yes.
WHAT HOPE LOOKS LIKE: Remember when Michelle Obama told us that Trump’s election had caused the nation to lose hope? In July, Barack Obama visited South Africa and publicly praised President Cyril Ramaphosa for, quote, “Inspiring great hope in this country.” Ramaphosa recently declared that he would change the South African constitution and he will do it for the explicit purpose of persecuting the nation’s white minority and seizing their land without compensation. Tucker Carlson reported, “Thanks to policies like this many South Africans have already been murdered in race killings and many more are fleeing the country for their lives. It’s not covered here but it’s covered in the rest of the world and it’s real.”
