EARLY CHRISTMAS FOR DEMOCRATS: No shutdown, no wall — Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn emerged from a lunch with GOP senators and with Vice President Mike Pence and told me that President Trump will sign a stop-gap to keep government open until Feb 8 when Democrats will have a majority in the House. Confirmation (as if we needed it) that RINOs suck. On the plus side, they’re leaving office and/or dying, while our Tea Party, populist, conservative Republican reps are getting higher up on the congressional food chain.
DEMOCRATS DO NOT WANT BORDER SECURITY: They prefer to allow thugs, drugs, and human traffickers to walk right in — Democrats rejected the latest spending bill, which included $1.6 billion for border security, plus another $1 billion for securing the border — which Democrats called a “slush fund” that Trump could use toward a wall.
LET DRUG LORD PAY FOR IT: Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has introduced a bill calling for the use of $14 billion seized from cartel drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman to be used to pay for the President’s border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.
BORDER WALL: Trump “not backing down” — Sanders says Trump has asked every agency to see if they have money that could be used for to pay for construction of southern border wall and also is waiting to see what kind of funding plan the Senate can pass.
FAKE NEWS: Media lies about death of death of 7 year old — The kid died because of her father’s actions, not the Border Patrol’s.
SHE’S RIGHT: It’s the Obama/Progressive open borders and sanctuary city policies that killed that kid — If they didn’t think they’d get in easily and reap huge rewards for being on U.S. soil, they wouldn’t DO this in the first place.
