I am so freaking SICK of unsubstantiated “Republicans Are Evil” accusations, particularly from members of the House majority party that REFUSES to even vote on Live Born Infant protection or, you know, propose some legislation to FIX our immigration system!
ARE WE STILL PUTTING CHILDREN IN CAGES?: “Do you still beat your wife?” –
Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen on Wednesday testified that the government does not use “cages” to hold children as Democrats interrogated her about the Trump administration’s practice of separating migrant families caught crossing the border illegally.
Nielsen and House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) sparred at one point over the conditions used to detain migrant children and whether the government still uses cages to hold them.
“Sir, we don’t use cages for children,” Nielsen said, telling Thompson that the border facilities that he’s visited were not intended to detain children. “To my knowledge, [Customs and Border Protection] never purposefully put a child in a cage if you mean a cage like this,” Nielsen added, making the shape of a box with her hands.
“Purposefully or whatever, are we putting children in cages as of today?” Thompson asked.
“They’re not cages,” Nielsen responded, calling them “areas of the border facility that are carved out for the safety and protection of those that remain there while they’re being processed.”
“We’re not going to go through the semantics,” Thompson said. “Now, I saw the … fences that were made as cages. And you did, too. If it’s a bad policy then change it, but don’t mislead the committee.”
Here are some ideas, Mr. Chairman.
- How about you change the policy, since IT’S YOUR JOB, isn’t it, to, you know, legislate how our immigration system works?
- How about, instead of criticizing people who are just doing THEIR jobs in the best way they can, given the resources and rules you and the rest of your party members refuse to fix, you figure out some better way to deal with the overwhelming flood of illegals crossing our southern border?
- How about you figure out some OTHER way to keep those kids safe while our agents figure out if the adults they’re with are actually their parents?
- How about you stop acting all huffy about how Trump’s administration is dealing with our broken immigration system, especially given it is the SAME WAY OBAMA’S DID IT?
- How about you figure out how to stop coyotes from use and abusing these kids you’re so concerned about to game our broken immigration system?
ARE WE STILL DRUGGING CHILDREN? Has anyone proven this ever happened? – The accusation is based on a pending LAWSUIT. As in, it’s all “alleged” to have “almost certainly” happened. Yeah, and Trump colluded with the Russians.
AGAIN: If AOC and all those other “compassionate” Democrats (who support abortion on demand throughout the full 9 months of pregnancy and even beyond live birth) … if you’re so all-fired concerned, how about launching an investigation to find out what’s really going on and then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

No, but besides not legislating anything to change the policies, you seem to be clueless about how abortions are performed. You know, what with the chemical abortion pills (which are drugs, sweetie), the sucking of babies out of the womb and into jars (at least the kids at the border don’t get ripped to pieces and, you know, dead), injecting older fetuses with digoxin or poisoning their amniotic fluid with salt which kills them slowly and painfully … I could go on, but I know you aren’t listening. You’re too busy flapping your gums.
