Tick abatement lawn maintenance and tick body checks have been moved to the tippy top of our priority lists. She’s on antibiotics and managed to walk about 4/10ths of a mile yesterday. She was slow, but she did her business and occasionally got interested in sniffing. She spent the whole night on her pillow in the same position (so far as I could tell) so I tried to stand her up and massage her legs. She plunked down again. We decided to leave her there, since she was only 18″ from her pillow. She got herself back on to it, so that’s something.

He said that the reason he bailed is because he has discovered that the president of Ukraine is surrounded by political enemies and is convinced that he was about to walk into a trap.
DEMOCRATS FREAKING OUT: House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., declared a “constitutional crisis” on Wednesday. The Fake Media and Democrats parroted his talking point.
Nadler also claimed that Trump was too colluding with Russia. So there. Nyah nyah. Wait, wut? I thought that refusing to accept Mueller’s conclusions would be a Very Bad Thing.
At issue is the fact that Barr refuses to un-redact two full lines and seven partial lines of the Mueller report, because it would be illegal for him to make that information public.
In other news, Barr made a less redacted version of the Mueller report available to 12 selected congressional leaders. (The only remaining redactions are of grand jury material.) Five of the six Republicans have gone to read it. None of the six Democrats have bothered.

We reached a new low in deceitful politics today. The lies about protection for pre-existing conditions continue. This was one of the most shameful and dishonest bills passed in the House so far. #HR986
Bill is called “Protection for Pre-existing Conditions Act” but it has NOTHING to do with pre-existing conditions. It is a bill that limits states’ ability to innovate with more cost-effective solutions. Dems labeled it that way to mislead voters. Shameful.
States that have successfully innovated under current law include Alaska, Maryland, Oregon, Maine, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and New Jersey. They have saved money on premiums AND protected pre-existing conditions. Dems are against that, AND lying about it.
If passed by the Senate and signed by President Trump, HR 986 would disable the ability of the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Secretary of the Treasury (collectively, the Secretaries) to issue a State Relief and Empowerment Waiver to a state whose plan innovative plan meets certain requirements.
