      Soldiers “love” war the way fire fighters “love” fire and law officers “love” murder. They train to fight for the safety of others, but any day without having to is a good one.

        If you’re ever stopped by a cop, a firefighter, or meet a solder heading to a tour of duty, tell them, “I hope you have a nice, boring day.” The response is a grin and “Thank you, amen.” niio

          I have 2 daughters who have done 3 tours in the Middle East. For one of them, the report was, “I’m so bored, I’m taking an OSHA certification class.” I cheered!
