MASCOTS: Mama and the little Buzzers are visiting the Western Massachusetts branch of our extended family. They hiked up Mt Greylock, which is the highest point in the state, and visited the Massachusetts Veterans War Memorial Tower.
On Wednesday, they come here! EEEK!! Grammy is a tad excited, especially about what happens on Friday … when … wait for it … ALL MY GIRLS and ALL THEIR KIDS will be here at the same time!!! As you may recall, our newest member was born at 28 weeks. He is celebrating his first birthday on Friday and … finally, Finally, FINALLY … I get to meet him!!!!
BALTIMORE: On July 27, 2019, President Trump set off a “raaacism” firestorm when he tweeted criticism of Elijah Cummings for his failure to make positive changes in rat-infested Baltimore.
The fellow in the video above is far from the only Black who has wised up to the Democrat “victimhood” scam. In the days following Trump’s tweet, Trump’s approval among Black voters jumped up … by a lot.
It will be interesting to see if this is a temporary blip or a real shift to the right by Black voters. Let us pray it’s the latter! Blacks have been voting Democrat for decades. So far, they’ve gotten nothing for their loyalty besides broken families, rat-infested neighborhoods, drugs, gangs, and failing schools.
PROGRESSIVES ARE AWFUL PEOPLE: Marco Rubio tweeted this about the two shootings – “May God bless those impacted by these heartbreaking tragedies & the police, paramedics, doctors & nurses who saved lives.”
Left-wing broadcast “journalist” Soledad O’Brien responded with, “American Coward @marcorubio sends his thoughts and prayers.”
She totally earned these (and more) scornful replies:
- Says the American “journalist.”
- Classy.
- Good to know you hate people that pray for their fellow human beings.
- When you’re calling out people for saying “God bless you” and offering support, maybe the problem isn’t them, but you?
- Now do Obama.
- Hack.
- Seek help.
LEFTISTS ARE LUNATICS: A paramedic recently reported on Facebook that he and his partner were refused service at a local McDonald’s. An employee told them they don’t accept “anyone with a badge” and “we don’t serve your kind here.” She doesn’t have a job anymore.
ABORTION: If only CINO Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden would take this to heart [2:45] – Reductio ad absurdum sometimes wakes people up and gets them to see their sin. Jesus used this technique also. E.g., “If your eye offends you, pluck it out.”
CATHOLIC CLERGY PAY SCALE: Perks with these jobs always include housing, health care, and retirement benefits. Some also include extras like a car, clothing, and travel expenses (as appropriate to the job). Their cash stipends are:
- Priests = $25,000-$35,000 per year.
- Cardinals = $68,000 per year.
- Pope Francis = Nothing.
Most of these men give away a share of their income. I have personally had two bills paid by two different priests when our family was really struggling. One gave me several hundred dollars for a car repair; the other gave me even more to help with medical expenses.
