PARENTAL RIGHTS: A mother is furious after discovering that her 16-year-old daughter’s headaches and soreness were caused by a prescription birth control implant called Nexplanon that had been inserted by a school nurse without her consent.
Her daughter’s pediatrician not only recommended that the tube be removed to alleviate the child’s discomfort, but also warned that the contraceptive could cause far worse side effects, such as blood clots.
“I actually went to the school. I was furious. I was mad, so I went to the school and the nurse told me, ‘I don’t have to talk to you about absolutely nothing,’” said the mother. “I’m like that is my child, I take care of this child, you can talk to me about my child.”
“And they put me out of the school,” said Lambert.
“They call me for Tylenol, but they don’t call me about birth control,” continued the concerned mom, who has hired an attorney to investigate.

ROE: The U.S. Supreme Court announced Friday it will take up the case of Louisiana’s admitting privileges law. The case has the potential to upend Roe v. Wade.
The case concerns Louisiana’s Act 620, which requires abortion centers to make arrangements for admitting women to hospitals within 30 miles in cases of life-threatening complications.
Personally, I think the fact that the abortion industry fights this and every other law aimed at protecting the health and safety of women seeking abortions is proof positive that they don’t give a crap about women, just money.
