CHRISTIANS DON’T JUST HAVE TO FORGIVE: We also have to apologize – I hate confrontation, but my pastor had really hurt my feelings and I thought I should tell him how I felt. I remember screwing up my courage to MAX and going him, saying what I had to say as calmly as I could and asking for an apology.
He crossed his arms, tipped his head back, looked down his nose at me and said, “I don’t have to apologize for anything. You’re a Christian. You just have to forgive me.”
That felt so WRONG, but I couldn’t answer him. So I set out on a Bible study and found a definitive answer, straight from Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount.
“Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” – Matt 5:23-24
Sadly, I have never once heard a single teaching or homily on this. I’m thinking maybe people miss the significance of this passage because it says “be reconciled with” instead of “apologize and make amends to.”
It seems to get interpreted as “you have to forgive your brother before you come to the altar.” Now that may be true also, but it’s not what Jesus was saying.
Forgiving is something you do to a person who has harmed you. A person who has something against you is someone you have harmed. That means you need to seek out the person you harmed and apologize and make amends before going to the altar.

So, Trump isn’t even allowed one day to crow? Lemme think … how long after Osama bin Laden died did Obama, Biden, et al. stop spiking their “Barack killed a terrorist” football? At least Trump gave credit where credit was due. As I recall, Obama’s announcement was very heavy on “I did this” type statements.
Also, Nancy Oxymoron Pelosi said she was pissed that Trump didn’t tell her and her leak-happy Democrats in Congress about the raid ahead of time.
“The House must be briefed on this raid, which the Russians but not top Congressional Leadership were notified of in advance, and on the Administration’s overall strategy in the region.”
“Our military and allies deserve strong, smart and strategic leadership from Washington.”
Nancy, honey, as long as people like you are in Congress, those two things are mutually exclusive.
THE LEFT’S WAR ON WOMEN: A women’s rights organization Fair Play for Women filed a Freedom of Information request and learned that UK police are allowing male prisoners convicted of sexual crimes to “identify as female” so they can be incarcerated with women.
One rapist promptly launched a spree of sexual assault against the female prisoners who were locked in with him—and he’s not the only one to pull that trick.
THE LEFT’S WAR ON CHILDREN: The people who expose small children to this stuff need their heads, hearts, and souls examined.
Child Protection League Action, a group whose focus is on protecting children from pedophiles and sexual predators, issued a warning to area libraries and issued a call to action for people to call the library and encourage them to cancel the sexual grooming sessions.

I never refer to Biden as ‘slow’. Referring to a crack addict as slow is an insult to people who are slow, and cannot help being that way. Also, Pelosi is not an oxymoron. She knows full well her husband’s wealth depends on her power in congress, to pass information under the table so he and their friends know what to sell now and when to buy. She’s corrupt. I am sitting here trying to imagine what The Hiladebeast’s mental state will be if she runs again and gets beaten for the third time … straight jacket and padded room?
It reminds me of a scene from The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis. Somebody in the bad place (It’s Hell if you stay, Purgatory if you leave) hiked as far out as there were houses and lost souls and found … I think it was Napoleon. Anyway, he watched through the window and all this soul did was pace back and forth, endlessly listing all the other people who had been responsible for his defeats.
