IMPEACHMENT: Democrats voted unilaterally to pursue an impeachment inquiry in hopes of overturning the will of 2016 voters – Two Democrats voted against the measure. ZERO Republicans voted in favor of it, including members who are not running for re-election in 2020.
According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, the two 20th c. votes to authorize an impeachment inquiry were bipartisan. In Clinton’s case, thirty-one Democrats voted with the Republican majority; in Nixon’s case, 410 people voted for, with only 4 against.
IMPEACHMENT: Speaker Pelosi [2:51] – In fact, just last March, Speaker Pelosi said she was opposed to impeachment, saying it’s “so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path because it divides the country. And he’s just not worth it.”
Red State reports one reason why Fancy Nancy may have changed her tune about impeaching Trump. Her son is also involved in the Ukraine energy biz. And like Junior Biden’s company, Burisma, Junior Pelosi’s company, Viscoil, is also under investigation. We also now know that Ukraine was involved in trying to assist the Clinton campaign in 2016. (Truism: If you want to know what the Democrats are up to, just listen to what they’re accusing Republicans of doing.)
About the video – Pelosi says [:12], “When President Jobama became president.” ::snork:: Then she says, Obama “elevated science to a higher priority.” Yes, I remember how he did that. I remember him telling NASA to ignore space exploration in favor of making Muslims feel good about how they invented decimals in 800 something. He also restored funding to fetal stem cell research which has yet to produce a single treatment of any kind. (Adult stem cell research has yielded dozens of treatments.) Yup, “science, science, science.”

Bongino’s invitation to “go to a MAGA rally” reminds me of when Obama was running in 2008. I saw a YouTube made by a black man who had decided to test out the oft-repeated “fact” that Tea Partiers are all raaacists. He put on his Obama t-shirt and went to a Tea Party rally. He was astonished at how friendly and welcoming everyone was.
TERROR: A new study published in the prestigious Journal of Obvious Information found that it’s much easier to defeat a terrorist group when you’re not secretly funneling weapons through Benghazi to them.
Skeptics across the country have voiced their disagreement.
“No that doesn’t make sense,” said John Wolfowitz, leader of the Military Industrial Complex Association. “ISIS wouldn’t have existed without the US funneling weapons and money to them. So, how could we beat them if they didn’t exist in the first place?”

MOVIE RECOMMENDATION: I liked this a lot. Dearest was away, so didn’t see it, but I think it’s one of those rare movies that both guys and gals can really enjoy. It’s basically a modernized homage to (not a remake of) It’s a Wonderful Life with Kurt Russell, some excellent high school football, and several great life messages.
