DARK MONEY: More Democrat hypocrisy – Democrats rant and rave against money in politics, especially so-called “dark money.” But it looks like a whole LOT of dark money went into helping the Democrats take back the House in 2018. Legal Insurrection has the details.
FAUXCAHONTAS: She doesn’t do polls. Maybe she should. [1:58] – Quinnipiac’s latest poll shows she lost 14 points in a single month.
BERNIE: Finland’s health care system isn’t good and it isn’t free – Finland’s health service has been in a parlous state for decades and it is getting worse. For example, you can’t make an appointment to see a doctor. You have to go in at 9am, take a number, and wait until a nurse is free to decide if you deserve to see a doctor. Waits are hours or weeks long. And care isn’t actually free at the point of use. The fees are not huge, but they do exist.
In December 2013, it was reported that Finns were increasingly using private doctors in neighboring Estonia to save time and money. You know, kinda like how Canadians come to the U.S. for the same reasons.
