TRUMP ECONOMY: Housing purchases are up.

The shut-down and record low mortgage rates have increased demand, while a shortage of available houses has increased prices.

In short, it’s a good time to sell.

TRUMP LEADERSHIP:You broke it, you’ve bought it” – President Trump denied the Minnesota governor’s request for $500 million to repair damage from riots in the weeks following the death of George Floyd.

Mark Levin tweeted, “Great decision. The president offered the National Guard but the pathetic governor waited and waited. And now the Minneapolis city council votes to abolish its police department. Pay for your own man-made hell. So much for utopia.

MINIMUM WAGE: [5:24] – Democrats want to increase it. Cities like Seattle and New York have already increased the local minimum wage to $15/hour.

A lifelong Seattle restaurant worker details how the increase harmed her.

2020: We are in the middle of another Operation Demoralize. It happens every national election. This time it’s early, only July.

The Left’s pols and lapdogs swarm and lie, because they have nothing to offer, but their bottomless need for power.

Their whole strategy depends on encouraging right-wing voter apathy and scheming to create faux votes.

We must not let them succeed at either endeavor.

DEFUND THE POLICE: Trump speaks with stakeholders positively impacted by police [54:10] – I’ve never watched one of these round table things before. For some reason, I watched this one. It’s both uplifting and inspiring.

I wrote the following five paragraphs before I watched it, so I was especially interested in the black Democratic legislator who said the same things. Another of the president’s guests spoke to increasing funding to provide more training for officers in how to respond to human trafficking victims they help rescue.

The majority of cops are good guys whose services are needed and wanted by their communities. Democrats are pushing for defunding police departments and shifting the funds to social work stuff. I’m assuming they think it would reduce crime or something.

But wouldn’t it make more sense to use a targeted approach in which we INCREASE funding to police departments to cover the costs of identifying the rare few cops who do or may pose a risk? I mean, if a healthy person gets an infected boil that makes it difficult , the doctor would lance it, drain the pus, and treat the person with antibiotics, right?

For example, how about instituting mandatory, annual, psychological reviews? Maybe a test like the MMPI with a follow up interview with a psychologist. Those identified as serious risks could be removed, while those who show some signs of potentially becoming a problem could be ordered into mandatory counseling until they are either cleared or removed.

In addition, maybe also fund some kind of statistical data analysis to assess if the process helps reduce crimes by cops? To me, this just seems to make more sense.

But, of course, it does not satisfy the Leftist’s mandate to destroy the galling American “privilege” of not only feeling, but also, in most cases, actually being safe.

SCOTUS: The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case involving two former Georgia college students who were prevented from sharing their faith on their school campus.

In March, Jews, atheists, Catholics, and Muslims filed friend of the court briefs on behalf of the students.

HATE CRIME HOAX: A black student at Texas A&M University claimed racist notes were being left on his car.

Campus police launched an investigation and ultimately concluded the messages were being left by the student himself.

HATE CRIMES: Satan’s assaults on God’s churches appear to be escalating.

In Los Angeles, a massive fire devastated the historic San Gabriel Mission Church, founded by St. Junípero Serra in 1771. Although Junípero sought to defend the dignity of the native community and protect it from abuse, his statues have become a target by Antifa/Black Lives Matter protesters. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fire and the valuable art work had been removed for renovations. No word yet on who did it or why.

In Ocala, Florida, a schizophrenic who is off his meds crashed his vehicle into a Catholic church and then set it on fire. He’s in custody.

In Boston, two statues of the Virgin Mary were attacked in two days. One was set on fire, while the other was vandalized with the word “IDOL.” No word yet on who did these or why.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD: The PP affiliate in Kansas City has laid off 36 employees. It is likely that more will follow.

Problems at the abortuary include financial troubles resulting from a sharp drop in patient numbers between March and June.

There are also reports of on-going staff complaints about “inner turmoil” and a “toxic environment” at the clinic.

ABORTION: Billionaire and Democrat Warren Buffett is the fourth richest man in the world.

Between 2000 and 2018, his foundation donated $4 billion to pro-abortion groups or 73% of the foundation’s total donations.

CANCEL CULTURE: Leftists call for a boycott on Goya Foods products – When asked if he would apologize for praising President Trump, the company’s CEO said, “Hell no. Hell no.

I usually don’t buy Goya, because I need organic and their organic line is very limited. But some surfing on the internet found me something I could buy (organic jasmine rice via Amazon) to support the BUYcott.

CANCEL CULTURE: Eating its own [3:11] – Four years ago, the musical “Hamilton” was applauded for casting black actors playing the roles of our white founders. Now it’s on the Left’s pooh-pooh list.

As you may recall, twelve days after Trump won the election, incoming Vice President Pence was heavily booed by the audience when he entered the theater. Then, during curtain calls, the heavily Democratic cast and creators delivered this snarky message.

“The cast, the creators, we all felt that we must express our feelings to Vice President-elect Pence. This is not a normal time, this is not a normal election. This has not been a normal result. And in a democracy, one must let his and her voice be heard, and we were not going to the show tonight without expressing how we feel.

“Everybody should be able to see this show, regardless of their politics, but it does just so happen that the politics of this administration have been so negative toward minorities, people of color, gay people that we felt the need to speak up. As a cast comprised of minorities, women, gay people, it was necessary. We had to speak. We had to express how we feel.”

This has not been a normal result.” Huh? You mean it’s NOT normal for the winners of the electoral vote to be declared the next President and Vice President of the United States?
