ABORTION: Tennessee Republican Gov. Bill Lee has signed an omnibus pro-life bill into law that bans abortion once a fetal heartbeat is detected. A restraining order immediately went into effect.
A federal judge has blocked Georgia’s 2019 heartbeat law, ruling that it violates the U.S. Constitution. Gov. Kemp says, “We will appeal.”
ABORTION REGRET: One study by a group of pro-abortion researchers shows that 95% of women do not regret aborting their unborn babies.
HUNDREDS of other studies show that more than 80% of women who had abortions reporting experiencing sorrow, sadness, guilt, regret, grief and disappointment. This regret can be catastrophic; women who have had abortions are seven times more likely to commit suicide than women who gave birth.
One of the studies, run by a self-described pro-choice atheist, concluded that women who continued an unwanted or mistimed pregnancy do not experience a significant increase in mental health problems.
