It’s been totally debunked, but they have left their stories and tweets up.

2A: Remember that video of a Missouri couple defending their property from a horde of violent, trespassing “protesters”?
The Dem position is that the horde had some kind of sacred right to express their righteous anger, while the homeowners had no right whatsoever to protect themselves or their property.
St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, the city’s top prosecutor, charged the couple with felony unlawful use of a weapon … weapons which they legally own and which were never discharged.
Gardner received nearly $78,000 in campaign contributions from a PAC which has ties to George Soros.
Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt has asked the court to dismiss the case. “I won’t stand by while Missouri law is being ignored.”
Missouri’s Republican Gov. Mike Parson said he’s ready and willing to issue a pardon. “I don’t think they’re going to spend any time in jail.”

GRAMMY NOTES: It’s a big week. On Monday morning, Papa Buzz was promoted. After the ceremony, Mama Buzz and her neighbor Melissa (I’ve mentioned her a few times here) piled into a 15-passenger van with our 3 Mascots and Melissa’s brood of 5 and headed north.
They arrived here in the afternoon where the ten and unders got to enjoy the giant sand pit Nonno built, while the over tens set up their accommodations for the week. We have 3 bedrooms, a kitchen area, a play room, and a living room featuring our new portable fire pit … which I asked be put smack in the middle of the yard, so it’s got maximum distance from the fire to the house or wooden fencing. It’s also got a spark cover, plus the hose is just feet away. I’m so delighted that we can have safe campfires!
We cooked dinner and polished off a chocolate cream pie, while getting to know each other, then our guests hit the sleeping bags … or in the case of the Buzzers, the beds in the guestroom. Mama is like me. Lots of allergies and no interest in sleeping on the ground! Apparently, Melissa’s crew are avid campers and assured us that having access to a flush toilet and hot water in our basement powder room was the height of luxury for them. LOL
This morning, everybody but me got up and hit the road for a day trip to Niagara Falls. Later I hauled myself out of bed and looked out the back window to enjoy the evidence of people having fun at my house, when I noticed our willow tree was GONE. It’s been dying and leaning more and more, so we put in an order to have the tree guys come and cut it down, but they hadn’t given us a date and I am gobsmacked!
They came, cut down and sliced up a whole tree in our fenced BACK yard, without disturbing anything. Plus, I SLEPT THROUGH IT ALL. They were here in May to do the next door neighbor’s dead tree, so I know for a fact that their equipment is really LOUD.
