VIDEO: 26:48 – If this issue concerns you, I encourage you to watch the entire video and also to read what I’ve written below.

The Left HATES genuine, faithful Catholics. Just look at the way they treated Brett Kavanaugh!

It should be no surprise then that both the Democrat’s nominee for president and the Democrat Speaker of the House make a big point of their alleged faithfulness to their Catholic faith while promoting and practicing grave sins.

Nor should it be any surprise that Biden’s choice as running mate is a bare-faced, anti-Catholic bigot.

  • As a U.S. Senator, Kamala Harris denounced Brian Buscher as unfit for the office of district judge by virtue of his membership in the Knights of Columbus, which is known for its charity, spirituality, and support for Catholic doctrine.
  • As California’s Attorney General, Kamala Harris used her power to destroy a deal that would have rescued six Catholic hospitals from bankruptcy.
  • As a devout Democrat, she favors legal abortion up to birth and forcing taxpayers to foot the bill. She has voted twice against Born Alive Infant Protection bills that would ensure that babies who lived through abortion procedures get medical care.

As politicians and public figures, Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are not as blatantly anti-Catholic, yet both are serial liars with long histories of supporting abortion.

Catholics are supposed to be faithful to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, which are clearly spelled out for us in The Holy Bible and The Catechism of the Catholic Church, plus elaborated upon in myriad encyclicals and ecumenical and synodal council documents.

Catholics are not only responsible for giving assent to the teachings of the RCC, but also for understanding the teachings. In addition, where we get stuck on a particular issue, we have an additional responsibility to make a genuine and prayerful effort to form our consciences in order to align them with the teaching.

This would involve reading not just what, but also why the RCC teachings whatever it is we are having difficulty with, discussing it with priests or faithful Catholics, and praying for the graces needed to align our consciences with the teaching.

This would also involve keeping our big, fat mouths shut about our defects of conscience, because Jesus Himself taught, “Woe to the world because of scandals. For it must needs be that scandals come: but nevertheless woe to that man by whom the scandal comes.” – Matthew 18:7

Scandal has been defined in the Church’s tradition as an act or omission on our part that, through our bad example, leads another to commit sin or lose faith. We will be judged by God alone not only for what we believe and for how we behaved, but also for how we influenced others to believe and behave.

With regard to abortion, any Catholic is automatically excommunicated who:

  • procures or helps or coerces another to procure an abortion;
  • performs or helps another to perform an abortion;
  • denies that abortion is always gravely immoral;
  • asserts that a person can, in good conscience, choose abortion;
  • publicly supports and/or argues in favor of the morality of abortion;
  • publicly supports and/or argues in favor of legal abortion.

With regard to politicians and abortion, “It is not sufficient for Catholic politicians to claim that they are ‘personally opposed’ to abortion. If any Catholic politician favors legalized abortion, despite a claim of personal opposition, such a politician commits a mortal sin by promoting abortion and by voting in favor of abortion.”

  • As a U.S. Senator, Joe Biden voted against allowing unborn babies who are harmed or killed during the commission of a crime to count as victims.
  • He voted against allowing unborn babies to count children for purposes of obtaining public assistance.
  • He voted against prohibiting minors crossing state lines for abortion and against requiring notification to parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions.
  • He voted in favor of repealing a ban on privately funded abortions at overseas military hospitals.
  • He voted in favor of expanding the number of aborted fetal cell lines researchers can use.
  • He also voted in favor of allowing human cloning.

Statements made by Joe Biden with regard to his Catholic faith and support for abortion:

(2012): “My religion defines who I am. And I’ve been a practicing Catholic my whole life. And it has particularly informed my social doctrine. Catholic social doctrine talks about taking care of those who can’t take care of themselves, people who need help. With regard to abortion, I accept my church’s position that life begins at conception. That’s the church’s judgment. I accept it in my personal life. But I refuse to impose it on [others].”

[2012]: “The next president will get one or two Supreme Court nominees. That’s how close Roe v. Wade is. Just ask yourself: With Robert Bork being the chief adviser on the court for Mr. Romney, who do you think he’s likely to appoint? Do you think he’s likely to appoint someone far right, that would outlaw abortion? I suspect that would happen. I guarantee you that will not happen [with Obama].

(2019): “I support a woman’s right to choose. I support it’s a constitutional right. I’ve supported it and I will continue to support it and I will, in fact, move as president to see to it that the Congress legislates that that is the laws as well.

(2019): “I can no longer support [the Hyde] amendment.” (The Hyde Amendment prohibits the use of federal funds to pay for abortion except to save the life of the woman, or if the pregnancy arises from incest or rape.)

(2020): “I was part of the reason why Elena Kagan got onto the Supreme Court. I was part of the reason why Ruth Bader Ginsburg is on the Court. I was part of the reason why Sotomayor is on the Court. I’m the reason this right [to abortion] wasn’t taken away because I almost single handedly made sure that Robert Bork did not get on the Court because he did not think there should be enumerated rights. Litmus test on abortion relates to the fundamental value of the Constitution. A woman does have a right to choose.

(2020): When the Little Sisters of the Poor won in the Supreme Court, Biden said he was disappointed and promised to renew the Democrats’ decade long fight to deny conscience and First Amendment protections for those who oppose abortion.

Nancy Pelosi’s record is just as bad. She and CINO Joe are not devout, practicing Catholics, but rather apostates who offend Our Lord every time they receive Holy Eucharist.

And, given their long-time public violation of Catholic teachings, I believe every bishop who refuses to condemn them, every priest who gives them communion, and every Catholic who votes for them equally offend.
