Secret Empires

The following is from a two-year-old article at Breitbart that has new significance. In short, Democrats aren’t the only American who have been busy selling our nation to the ChiComs.

Multiple establishment media outlets have now confirmed the accuracy of the following claims Peter Schweizer made in his reporting about McConnell and Chao’s deep financial ties to China.

Beginning in 2007, just as the U.S. Senate was taking up sensitive legislation concerning China, the Chinese government’s CSSC Holdings, Ltd. named Elaine’s father, James Chao, and her sister, Angela Chao, to its board. CSSC Holdings, Ltd. is the financial arm of CSSC, the Chinese government’s military contractor. Angela Chao also sits on the board of directors of the Communist Chinese government’s Bank of China.

Since Elaine Chao became Transportation Secretary, her family’s company Foremost Group has ordered 10 massive cargo ships from the Communist Chinese government’s China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). That represents more than a 40 percent increase in capacity.

Since becoming U.S. Transportation Secretary, Elaine Chao and her father, James Chao, have appeared in at least a dozen Chinese media interviews, including foreign interviews that featured the Department of Transportation symbol and her father’s book.

James Chao, whose shipping company Foremost Group does massive deals with the Chinese government, subsequently “gifted” Mitch McConnell and Elaine Chao between $5 million to $25 million. This is EXACTLY the same thing the ChiComs have done with the Bidens and elsewhere … enrich relatives of powerful foreign leaders to earn their loyalty.

Mitch McConnell and his father-in-law, James Chao, traveled to China as guests of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). While there, they met with former Chinese President Jiang Zemin, a former classmate of Chao’s. Prior to his marriage, Senator McConnell took hardline positions against China. No more.
