BOOK BANNING: In 2018, a book critical of the transgender ideology appeared on Amazon. Trans activists flooded When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Movement by Ryan T. Anderson with negative reviews to try and discourage people from buying and reading it. It didn’t work; the book became a best-seller. So Amazon removed it with no warning or explanation

Man – when bookshop that sells Mein Kampf thinks you’re too dangerous to public, it’s a sign you’re over the target and doing damage.” – Catholic writer Michael Brendan Dougherty

If Amazon blacklists a book, buy it from another seller or directly from the publisher. But buy it. And read it.” – Prof. Robert P. George

How is it that Amazon won’t sell a book because of it’s content and doesn’t get in trouble but a bakery that won’t bake a cake because of what it represents does get in trouble?” – Kurt Killen

CENSORSHIP: An attorney with a citizens’ group recently testified before the Ohio state legislature about a GOP-backed bill that would implement legislative oversight of pandemic-related orders given by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.

We will continue to refine this curriculum.”

COLD: Jason Isaac explains the Texas power outages [29:55] – About 70 deaths are being attributed to the recent arctic blast, with most being in Texas, where renewable power sources failed. According to Isaac, the people who managed the emergency response made some critical errors that compounded the problem. In addition, poor maintenance of trees around power lines led to frozen branches taking down lines.

EDUCATION: Video of a pre-meeting session of the school board for the Oakley Union Elementary School District, in which trustee members planned how to mute parents by forcing them to pre-record comments, complained about how hurtful it was to receive complaint letters from constituents because “we’re people too”, and mocked parents for wanting schools to re-open. [8:10].

The trustees have resigned en masse. Good riddance.

One of these parent told ABC7, “I thought the board members were also advocates for my child and had her best interests at heart. After [Wednesday’s] incident, it really has me thinking that they don’t. They see us writing letters monthly, weekly, to the board members, detailing our stresses and grief about distance learning. For them to say we are doing nothing and sitting home and smoking pot is far from the truth.”

With training available in the automotive, electrical, carpentry and welding sectors, students have the opportunity to take part in internships and even graduate early.

TDS: Mayor de Blasio hates Trump more than he loves his own citizens. In a pathetically spiteful move that hurt The Donald not at all, he severed ties with the Trump Organization that ran four operations in the city – the Central Park Carousel, Wollman and Lasker skating rinks, and the Ferry Point Golf Course. They don’t have anybody else to run these popular spots, but by gum, they’re NOT going to let anything or anyone named “Trump” do anything nice for anybody.
