Bits & Bytes

BEN & JERRY’S: Click to read this one.

FAUXTUS: [17;19] – Tucker explains why the fraud in the White House is deeply dangerous. “If Russia uses chemical weapons, we’ll respond in kind.” Aren’t we supposed to not have any chemical weapons, because they’re banned globally? “If there was ever a time to invoke the 25th amendment, this is it.

FLORIDA: CLICK [3:52] to hear DeSantis tell the Left to go suck an egg. Dan Bongino then talks about Disney’s support for sexually grooming very young children.

HUNTER’S LAPTOP: CLICK [6:02] to hear Gaetz grill the FBI’s Asst. Director of Cyber about how come they don’t know where the laptop is or what is on it. This guy came to a congressional hearing without apparently finding out ANYTHING about what they might ask him. “I don’t have any information about the Hunter Biden laptop.” “Who should?” “I can’t say. I don’t know. It’s not in my purview.

Gaetz had a copy of the hard drive on his desk the whole time and asked to enter it into the record. At the end of that clip, Chairman Nadler was objecting, but the NY Post article says he later backed down.

Also, Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin have released evidence showing Hunter received payments from foreign oligarchs that further reveal “the extent to which President Biden might be — and almost certainly is — compromised.”

LENTEN MEDITATION: “We must speak to God as a friend speaks to his friend, servant to his master; now asking some favor, now acknowledging our faults, and communicating to Him all that concerns us, our thoughts, our fears, our projects, our desires, and in all things seeking His counsel.” – St. Ignatius of Loyola

LIFE: Pro-family activist Peter Wolfgang says the recent Connecticut rally was markedly different from previous ones. Not only was it attended by 2,000 instead of the usual 300, but the press actually covered it fairly. This in a state where abortion ‘rights’ have been untouchable for decades.

MANDATES: A new poll shows 62% oppose mask mandates and/or stringent social-distancing policies vs. 34% who favor them. This is a 10-point shift toward the “We are sooo done with COVID” side since the same pollsters asked the same question back in January.

MATT WALSH: “My upcoming book, What Is A Woman?, has been ranked by Amazon as the #1 bestselling Women’s Studies book in the country. Only in America can I go from being a bestselling LGBTQ children’s author to a bestselling Women’s Studies author over the course of just a few months.”

NEW JERSEY: I didn’t watch the video. It’s here because it was shown to a middle school social studies class, without parental notification.

RUSSIA: On Wednesday, the Russian Ambassador to the United Nations made a short speech in which he referred to a president who was “overthrown with the connivance of Germany, France, Poland with the support of the United States.

A very short (11 second) clip is going around the ‘net with claims that he was talking about Trump and 2020. Newsweek has what appears to be his full remark (1:13), which makes it clear these claims are using the phrase I quoted above out of context.

S&G: At the link below are videos of Disney execs. One of them says says her team has implemented a “not-at-all-secret gay agenda” and is regularly “adding queerness” to children’s programming. Yeah, we noticed.

VAXXX: I’m not anti-vaxx. I’m anti-killing-people-for-profit. – According to Kulvinder Kaur, M.D., a majority of the world has removed vaccination, testing, and isolation mandates for tourists. Canada still forbids its own citizens from leaving unless Trudeau deems them “fully vaccinated.” I haven’t seen my Canadian cousin in two years, because she can’t cross the border.

VOTER FRAUD: An academic study on voter fraud suggests that the Democrats’ push to relax voting standards created new opportunities for electoral mischief. I’m shocked! Shocked, I tell ya!

John R. Lott Jr., the man behind the research, found that voter turnout in Republican areas increased from 2016 to 2020 while voter turnout among Democrats dropped — except in places where voter fraud was claimed. In all, he estimates Biden received 255,000 fraudulent votes.

WASHINGTON: A school district in a suburb of Tacoma has passed a new policy with a 3-2 vote that encourages school staff to adapt disciplinary decisions “in a culturally responsive manner.” IOW, white kids will be disciplined more harshly than kids of color. The district says they’re simply following a 2021 state law requiring districts to “align with Cultural Competency, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion standards.”

WOW: Scientists have successfully revived this flowering plant from seeds they found frozen in Siberian permafrost. Radiocarbon dating put the age of the seeds at between 20,000 and 40,000 years, which was during the Pleistocene epoch.

This is the oldest plant ever to be regenerated. The previous record-holder is a date palm derived from a 2,000-year-old seed recovered from the ancient fortress of Masada in Israel. As I recall, I reported on that one a while back.

A big differences between these two is that the women who revived the date palm are trying to restore what was once an important food crop. I’m guessing the Pleistocene flower was more of a “let’s see if we can get these to grow” project.

GRAMMY NOTES: My heart is full! Got this from Mama – “While I was putting fresh bedding on my bed, Bunny and Bootz got our latest batch of clean laundry almost all folded for me! I also heard Bunny happily comment, “Our hearts are getting bigger!

WARNING: Take all food and drink OUT of your mouth before you watch this. I cannot be responsible if there’s no one nearby to perform the Heimlich on you!
