2024: A poll taken before the debate showed deep blue New Jersey at 41% for Trump vs. 40% for Biden. The last time New Jersey went red was in 1988.

Pre- and post-debate CBS/YouGov polls showed a sharp drop in support for Dementia Joe.

  • “Should he be running for re-election?” YES: 37% pre- vs. 28% post-.

An appalled CNN talking head said, “I have never seen numbers this bad for an incumbent president during my lifetime.”

CHEVRON DEFERENCE: Last week, the Supremes voted 6–3 to overturn the forty-year-old judicial doctrine known as the Chevron deference. Critics of this say it is responsible for the explosive growth of the U.S. government in recent decades. The new decision will make it more difficult for unelected government officials to generate new regulations.

CORPORATE MEDIA: The undeclared PR arm of the Democratic Party is ripe with gaslight. DEMS PANIC: After the debate, the unabashedly left-wing TIME wrote, “even Biden’s closest allies privately admitted it was a disaster. Biden appeared every bit the 81-year-old grandfather that he is, stammering with a thin voice through unintelligible arguments and often staring blankly, mouth agape, as Trump lobbed one verbal attack after another. Biden froze up repeatedly and fumbled even some set-piece lines he had prepared in advance for the moment.”

The also unabashedly left-wing New York Times editorial board wrote, “To Serve His Country, President Biden Should Leave The Race. … There are Democratic leaders better equipped to present clear, compelling and energetic alternatives to a second Trump presidency. There is no reason for the party to risk the stability and security of the country by forcing voters to choose between Mr. Trump’s deficiencies and those of Mr. Biden. It’s too big a bet to simply hope Americans will overlook or discount Mr. Biden’s age and infirmity that they see with their own eyes.”

Meanwhile, the New York Times reports that “President Biden’s family is urging him to stay in the race and keep fighting despite last week’s disastrous debate performance.” Well, they don’t want their gravy train to dry up, now do they?

J6: Last week, the Supremes voted 6/3 in favor of Joseph Fischer, a former police officer, who was charged under an accounting law that holds a 20 year potential jail sentence. Fischer briefly entered the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. The majority agreed that Mr. Fischer shouldn’t have been charged with breaking a law meant to curbing wrongdoing on Wall Street.

JUDICIAL ACTIVISM: Montana passed a law defining what “male”and “female”mean. Judge Vannatta, a Democrat-appointed federal judge in Montana, ruled it to be “unconstitutional.“

TENNESSEE: Governor Bill Lee has signed a bill calling for 30 days of prayer and fasting beginning July 1. Tennessee House Joint Resolution 0803 asks the people of the state “to seek God’s hand of mercy healing on Tennessee.”

TENT CITIES: Last week, the Supremes voted 6-3 in favor of a local ordinance banning public camping. Leftists claim the ban constitutes “cruel and unusual punishment.” The majority disagreed, warning against expanding the definition of that phrase beyond the original intention and also noting that citizens must be allowed to experiment with solutions to homelessness, not have one solution (e.g., tent cities) imposed by the federal government.

TRUMP: We got another win this morning when the Supremes ruled 6–3 that presidents enjoy immunity from criminal prosecution for official, but not for unofficial, acts. This decision is expected to delay former President Donald Trump’s trial in the federal election case in Washington.

The Supreme Court held that: “Under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of Presidential power entitles a former President to absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for actions within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority. And he is entitled to at least presumptive immunity from prosecution for all his official acts. There is no immunity for unofficial acts.”

UVALDE, TEXAS: On May 24, 2022, an 18-year-old Uvalde resident shot and severely wounded his grandmother, then moved to Robb Elementary School where he killed 19 students and two teachers, while injuring 17 others.

Due to the total inaction by local police, the shooter had more than more than 1 hour and 14 minutes onsite before a United States Border Patrol Tactical Unit bypassed the incident commander, on Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District Police Department (UCISD PD) Chief Pedro Arredondo, and breached the scene, ending the shooter’s life.

Arredondo has been charged with 10 counts of abandoning and endangering a child. Another officer, Adrian Gonzales, has been charged with 29 counts. Both of officers face up to two years in prison and a $10,000 fine if they are convicted.

Separate investigations are being conducted by the Texas Ranger Division and the United States Department of Justice. One hopes more indictments will come as there were numerous instances of local and state police getting into violent conflicts with parents to prevent them from entering to rescue their children. Three people were injured during these conflicts.
