Today, according to the Washington Free Beacon, that money has purchased a total of 60 electric buses in 27 school districts.
A 66-passenger electric school bus costs from $320,000 to $440,000, while the diesel versions cost about $140,000 – $160,000. One billion divided by 60 = $16,666,666.67. Sixteen and a half million dollars for buses that retail for less than half a million. But yeah, sure. Let’s put HER in charge. What could possibly go wrong?
