PENNSYLVANIA: Back in 2011, first-grade teacher Ellen Greenberg (27) was found in her apartment with 20 stab wounds. Ten of them were to the back of her neck. The coroner initially ruled her death a homicide, but was pressured into changing it to suicide. Her family has finally gotten the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to look at whether they have standing to challenge the coroner’s ruling.
Why does this matter? Because then-Attorney General Josh Shapiro handled the case. Shapiro, who is now Pennsylvania’s governor, has family history with both Goldberg’s family and with the Bidens.
