BIDEN-HARRIS ECONOMY: The Trump–Harris debate had 67 million TV viewers, the most of any prez debate in 16 years. One pundit I watched said it doesn’t matter who “won” the debate. “If you want abortion, you’ll vote for Kamala. If you’re upset about immigration, you’ll vote for Trump.” Then, he made a great point, which was that the debate was for those who are still undecided. And their #1 concern is the economy.
I’m sorry I have forgotten who it was or where I saw it.

DOUBLE STANDARDS: CLICK https://x.com/TrumpWarRoom/status/1834637916405993739 [:09] to hear Biden brag about how many black jobs his administration allegedly “created.” Don’t hold your breath waiting for the Left Stream Media to harp on and on about how there’s no such thing as a “black job.”

J6: A U.S. appeals court has vacated the felony convictions of 12 of the Dems’ political prisoners. Some of them have spent years in prison on trumped-up charges.

LATE TERM ABORTION: “[N]owhere in America is a woman carrying a pregnancy to term and asking for an abortion. That is not happening.” That was just one of the Big Fat Lies Kamala was not challenged about during the debate. The map at the link below, created by the Guttmacher Institute (Planned Parenthood’s research arm), shows that 25 states, plus D.C., have either no limit or have the slippery “health” exception.
IOW, in slightly more than half the country, late-term abortions are happening in America. The Left would also like to remind us that they constitute a “teeny tiny” share of the total. Lyman Stone did the math and concluded that this “teeny tiny” shared amounted to about 5,000 babies who were murdered after they were viable. Even if half of those were due to “unsurvivable conditions”, that’s 2,500 homicides. “There were about 23,000 homicides in the US in 2023. If that teeny tiny share of abortions covering very late abortions of totally viable kids without lethal health issues were counted, those extremely rare abortions would compose fully 1-in-10 homicides in the United States.”
A good point. But what I don’t get is why unborn babies with allegedly lethal conditions need to be murdered at all. To my mind, we should give them every day of life that God permits. I know two women who were diagnosed with such babies. They went to term and gave their little ones as much love in the minutes they survived as they could soak up. I can’t help thinking the souls of those loved ones had an easier death than the ones who get murdered prematurely and often painfully.

MILITARY: [5:29] – We could have predicted the content of his dismissive response. What I find revealing is that he sent it to a group mailing list without removing Fox first. So let me guess who else was on that list …

SIDS: A study entitled “Early Newborn Metabolic Patterning and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome” was published last week in JAMA Pediatrics. In it, researchers report having identified 14 biomarkers that, if atypical at birth, may increase an infant’s risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). The hope is that this could allow at risk babies to be identified shortly after birth.

GRAMMY NOTES: [5:12] – TY to Mindful Webworker for this fun clip. It reminded me of when I was 11 and visited London. I had been carefully taught to look “Left Right Left.” Let me tell you something. This does not work in London. If someone hadn’t grabbed me and quickly dragged me back, I would’ve been hit.
