CHARITY: Every four years, New York Catholics host a charity event called the Al Smith dinner. Smith, of course, was the first Catholic to run for our highest office. They always invite the two rival presidential candidates, where the two always make lighthearted jokes about one another, as they help raise money for NYC’s unfortunate. Cardinal Dolan (aka the Archbishop of New York) has announced that Harris has declined the invitation saying, “This hasn’t happened in 40 years since Walter Mondale turned down the invitation. And remember, he lost 49 out of 50 states.” Trump will be there.

They don’t actually care about “Saving the Planet” (which is far beyond their ability anyway). In my not-so-humble opinion, their true long-term goal is to turn 98% of us into medieval serfs who never travel more than a few miles from where we were born. They, of course, plan to be the lords who own all the weapons and get to decide every detail of their lives.

MILITARY: On Monday, a Pentagon spokesperson said we are sending more troops to the Middle East in response to “increased tensions“ in the region. Currently, the United States has about 40,000 troops in the region. I wonder if Harris will continue to tell us her convenient untruth: “There is not one member of the military who is in active duty in a combat zone in any war zone around the world for the first time this century.”

She gets this based on a technicality, which is that we aren’t engaged in any large scale so-called wars. But the Founders reserved the power to declare war to Congress … which has not done so since World War II. So Harris’ claim was true not only for Bush’s “stupid war”, but also in the previous century when our 36K+ of our troops died in Korea and 58K+ died in Vietnam.

ROWLING: Personally, I wouldn’t roast marshmallows over burning books. There’s no telling what toxins are in the smoke … from the ink, glue, etc. Not from the ideas the author espouses but did not include in her wonderful stories. ::smh:: I mean … at least her books are actually fun and interesting, unlike leftist stories that constantly beat you over the head with their ideologies.

GRAMMY NOTES: Happy “National Daughters Day” to my three precious girls … who have, so far, produced two tiny replicas! As for the one who only has boys, don’t think you’re going to get away with anything. Those genes will tell. And Nonno and I are so enjoying it all!!
