AIR: Yesterday, The New York Times reported that the air control tower at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport was grossly understaffed at the time of the deadly helicopter-airplane crash. The FAA and the controllers’ union call for 30 staff in that tower; there were 19.
A lawsuit filed by nearly 1,000 individuals who went to school to become air traffic controllers says they met the requirements for become air traffic controllers, but that they were bounced from the program for being too white.
Way back on June 3, 2015, The Wall Street Journal published an article entitled “The Obama administration forces the Federal Aviation Administration to move away from merit-based hiring criteria.”
Twenty-freaking-FIFTEEN! It’s a wonder more people have not died!

BOOTYJUDGE: Under Mayor Pete, the Department of Transportation extended its DEI/Affirmative Action push skin color and sexual perversions to include actively recruiting and hiring disabled people with hearing and/or vision impairment, missing extremities, partial to complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism. According to Pete et al., “diversity is integral to achieving FAA’s mission of ensuring safe and efficient travel across our nation and beyond.”

EDUCATION: There are many kinds of intelligence. I was born across the street from an Ivy League university and have lived my entire 70 years within spitting distance of it and multiple other colleges. The main shortcoming I have noticed in the highly educated is a lack of common sense.

SAY NO TO PRIDE MONTH: Pride is not merely one of the seven. It is the queen. The other six deadly sins – greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth – are all offshoots of pride’s “poisonous root.”
TARIFFS: Yesterday, Trump imposed tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and China that begin today. China manufactures fentanyl and Mexico and Canada are doing nothing to stop it from flowing across our mutual borders where it kills Americans every year. Trump said, “We’re not looking for a concession. We’ll just see what happens.”

ZUCK: He caved to pressure from the Biden White House and now he’s paying the price. Meta has agreed to settle Trump’s lawsuit over suspending his social media accounts following the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot. Meta, which owns Instagram and Facebook, will pay $22 million to a fund for Trump’s presidential library and an addition $3 million toward covering legal expenses and compensating additional plaintiffs involved with the case.
