CALIFORNICATION: It’s true. California lawmakers in the Assembly Public Safety Committee have blocked a proposal to make it a felony to buy 16- and 17-year-old minors for sex.
CHI-TOWN: When our village had Republican leadership, we saved up $10 million to use toward infrastructure improvements. Democrats took over and blew through it financing b.s. like a “sustainability officer.” What a joke … paying someone with that title using unsustainable funds!
DOGE: In the last two days, agencies terminated 179 wasteful contracts, saving We The Taxpayers $280 million. Among the contracts canceled was one for $1.8 million for “energy and climate advisory services”, one for $207,000 for a “grant writing workshop”, and one for $89,000 for a “country program manager in Namibia.”
ISLAM: I saw a woman at JoAnn’s dressed like this at once. It was mid-summer; husband and toddler were in light clothing and sandals. Wife was trying to decide if fabric weight would suit by feeling it … while wearing black knit gloves. There weren’t even any other men in the store.
LIFE: After taking the abortion pills, a Reddit user posted the photo above of her dead baby. “I literally gave birth, and nobody told me it would be like that. WISCONSIN: Wisconsin Supreme Court has suspended Hannah Dugan, the Milwaukee judge accused of helping a man evade immigration authorities. “It is ordered … that Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah C. Dugan is temporarily prohibited from exercising the powers of a circuit court judge in the state of Wisconsin, effective the date of this order and until further order of the court.”
GRAMMY NOTES: I saw one of my K-garteners at the mall and he looked from my feet up to my head and, with wide eyes, asked, “Where is your bus?!”

I love the little kid asking you where your bus was. Many years ago, when I was a church music director, I bumped into a family at the grocery store that normally I saw only on Sundays, and their little girl looked at me and said, “Where is your piano?”
