OHIO: The Biden administration lied to the public, saying there were no concerns about the health of East Palestine residents after a train carrying toxic chemicals derailed and spilled its contents. The Trump administration is putting up $10 million toward a five-year initiative to better understand the short- and long-term health effects of exposure to these hazardous chemicals, which included vinyl chloride, butyl acrylate, ethylene glycol and benzene residue.

Wesley Hunt [R-TX-38] and Bill Maher debate whether J6 was an “insurrection.” Dems are still yapping about J6, yet a majority of them say we should just “move on” from the Biden autopen. Maher squawking about the partisan nature of the “insurrection” is highly ironic, give that the autopen pardoned every single member of the January 6th Committee!

SCOTUS: [12:08] – The Supreme Court on Thursday sent the case of an Ohio woman who contends that she was the victim of reverse discrimination back to the lower courts. In a unanimous ruling by Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the justices agreed that a federal appeals court in Cincinnati was wrong to impose a higher bar for the case brought by Marlean Ames to move forward than if Ames had been a member of a minority group.

GRAMMY NOTES: I was born (1954) and grew up in Ithaca, NY, home of Cornell University. My junior and senior high years were marked by closures due to racial unrest. I was walking on eggshells back then. I am very sad that what was happening there, back then has spread, not healed.
